baby shower

I was at my house and Kara had texted me to meet her at her apartment.
I told her I would and put on one of my maternity dresses after I finished getting ready. I also put on light makeup.
"Bye honey, I'm going over to Kara's." I said.
"Okay, see you later." Winn told me giving me a kiss goodbye.

At Kara's

"Suprise!" Everyone said.
"Oh my gosh! What is this?" I asked.
"Your baby shower!" Kara said.
I saw that Caitlin and Iris were there, as well as Kara, Eliza, and Alex.
"Thanks guys!" I said.
"Yeah, Congratulations by the way." Caitlin said.
"Thanks Cait." I said giving her a hug.
After a while of playing games, eating snacks, and just socializing it was time for me to open gifts.
"Come on y/n, open your gifts." Kara said.
"Okay, okay." I said pulling one off of the table.
It had binkies and diapers. "Thanks Eliza." I said smiling grabbing the next gift. After I finished opening the gifts I looked through them. I got binkies, and diapers, burp clothes, blankets, pillows, and toys.
"Wow, thanks guys. Me and Winn really appreciate it." I said.
"Of course y/n." Kara said.
"We love you y/n, we are always here for you." Iris said.
"Just call if you need anything sweetie." Eliza told me.
"Of course I will." I said.
"Good." Caitlin told me. "Well, we should get back to our Earth."
"Okay. Bye." I told her giving her and Iris a hug.
"It was nice seeing you guys." I said.
"Yeah, you too." They told me.
I smiled as they opened the breach up and headed back to their Earth.
"I should get going." I said.
"Okay, you need any help putting stuff in the trunk?" Alex asked me.
I nodded my head as she helped me carry stuff out and put it in my car.
After stuff was put in I buckled up my seat belt and drove back to mine and Winn's home.
I played some music on my way home.

At home

"I'm home." I said carrying in the gifts.
Winn walked up too me and gave me a quick kiss and took some of the bags from my hands.
"Thanks." I said.
"Yeah, of course." Winn told me setting the gifts on the coffee table.
"So why did Kara want you to come over?" Winn asked me.
"It was for a baby shower." I said.
"How nice of them." Winn said.
"Yeah," I said smiling looking down at my stomach.
"That kid is gonna be so loved." Winn told me.
"Yeah, she will." I said smiling rubbing my belly.
I headed into the bedroom to change into my pajamas and then headed into the kitchen to get something to eat.
I then sat down on the couch with Winn and we watched Star Wars.
I leaned in close to Winn and he wrapped his arm around me pulling me in closer.
Winn gave me a kiss on my forehead, "I love you." He told me.
"I love you too darling." I told him putting my head on his chest enjoying the movie.
