~Chapter 12~

"finally, I want mr. Bang Chan to be partners with miss seehwa. Make sure to submit your project next Friday, you all may be dismissed early for your cooperation in class today," ended our chemistry teacher, Mr. Chae.

I frowned as I kept thinking that chan and seehwa are partners, I feel uneasy inside me, I know me and chan are just fake couples, but I still feel broken, and hurt inside.

"hey kyung, I'm going to go talk to seehwa about the project, so I don't think I'll be able to walk home with you," he informed, "but, I can't do it without you allowing me to."

"o-oh, its fine with me, i-i'll go home with jeongin, y-you and s-seehwa have a great time making the project," I stuttered.

"why are you stuttering?" Questioned chan, as he bent his head down and tilted it, "are you okay?"

"i'm f-fine, don't need to worry, anyways, see you tomorrow."

"noona, why didn't chan walk back with you today?" Questioned jeongin.

"he's busy doing a project with seehwa, the girl who sat with you and your friends in break," I answered, "and now you start calling chan without honorific huh?!" I teased, as I poked his arm vigorously.

"a- ek-ow sorry!"

We walked past food stalls that were opened recently. They sold delicious fish cakes and Tteokbokki, I looked jeongin to see how he mouth-watered for the fish cakes.

"aigoo, you want fish cakes?" I chuckled, as I lightly pat his on the shoulder.

"mhm."

"it will be 500 won please," stated the old lady, who gave two cups with steaming fish cakes.

"here you go," I replied politely, as I handed the money over to her.

"GIVE ME GIVE ME!" Yelled jeongin, who was already drooling for the fish cakes

"aye, don't shout," I whispered, as he swiped a cup of fishcakes off my hand.

We both continued to walk home before the sun sets, since jeongin is not allowed to stay late at night. We went to the condo he lives in, with the other members, I met Felix, who waited at the entrance for jeongin.

"ah, jeongin, you finally came," smiled Felix, "thanks for bringing him home. huh, where's chan, he's supposed to walk you home.."

"oh, well he has to plan with his partner for a project, so yeah," I mentioned, as I faked a smile, but felt all the pain return to me.

"so..you'll walk alone, at night again?" Worried Felix.

"i guess so," I realised, as I lightly rubbed my palms against my neck.

"i'll walk you home, chan would feel sad if you get injured again," declared Felix, "jeongin, just take the card and go to the room, I'll take kyung home."

"ok."

Me and Felix walked across the street, and it was almost 10 pm at that time.

"kyung," blurted Felix, as he kicked the thick snow off his shoes.

"hm?"

"are you..jealous that he is doing a project with another girl?" Revealed felix, as his eyebrows were scrunched and made him have a worried face.

"n-no, i-i'm ok with it... who said i-i'm not okay with it, I look o-ok," I sttuttered again, as my ears turned red and sweated a bit.

"you're seriously a bad liar," laughed Felix.

"apparently."

"anyways, see you in school tomorrow, goodnight," waved Felix, as he started to walk back to the condo he and his members stay in.

"bye, take care of yourself!" I waved back.

"i will!"

Another day in school, and yet again, seehwa still had to meet up with chan for the project. Today is Friday, meaning we have few classes today. Our 5th class had ended, as now it was library class, I decided to skip cuz I didn't feel like it. I shuffled across the now empty hall, like a soulless soul, and the awkward silence filled them, and the only sounds that echoed were the tables moving.

~you're nothing to him, you're useless, worthless, he thinks you're a freak~

My head ached, as I heard a loud high pitched sound, that is similar to a beep when someone's heart stopped working. my back slipped the nearest wall I leaned to, as I covered my head and pressed it hard till I can't hear anything. The moment I knew it...everything turned black...
