The plane landed at 11 in the morning in L.A. Proceeding through the airport I waited outside. The sun was high up in the sky but it wasn't that hot. I looked around waiting for a specific person to pick me up
Where the hell is Justin! It's almost 30 minutes. I bet he forgot about my arrival.
I was cursing him under my breath when all of a sudden someone wrapped its arms around me. Out of my instinct, I elbowed him hard in his stomach making him stubble back, releasing me
"Oh fuck"
Wait. I recognize this voice. I turned around to see the specific person I was waiting for, clutching his stomach and face full of pain. Not a meter apart stood a girl, hand on her mouth trying not to laugh. And not so long after, I burst out laughing and soon the girl followed
"Haha, it wasn't that funny, so stop laughing you two," Justin said, annoyed.
We were in his car, with him driving heading towards his house. And being me I was still laughing along with Sofia. Sofia was his girlfriend, as he introduced me to her. She was a beautiful girl, perfectly matched with Justin. Not to mention she was hella cool and laid back. Perfect couple.
"Take a chill pill, Justin," I said as I composed myself after the laughter session
"Yeah yeah, BTW why are you visiting me all of a sudden?"
My mood turned gloomy as thoughts of Taehyung roamed around my head. The scene I saw that night was still fresh.
I guess Sofia sensed my sudden mood change as she nudged Justin. The boy turned towards me but said nothing. Suddenly Sofia broke the silence
"Wanna go to McDonald's?"

.
And here we are. Sitting at a table at the corner in McDonald's. I couldn't say no to Sofia as for me food is life. I love food so why say no?
"How's Korea?" Justin asked, trying to start up a conversation
"It's good. The surroundings and the people. And my Mom remarried"
"Aunty remarried? When? With who? And you didn't even invite me" He said, lips pouting
I laughed." Mom remarried three months ago with Mr. Kim, CEO of The Kim's Cooperation. And for the wedding, we didn't do it publicly. Just a few people. That's all"
"Show me some photos. I'm sure you have some on your phone" he suggested or rather demanded.
I looked over to Sofia. She sure was pretty and a good observant. She makes sure that the people around her are happy. I saw her looking at Justin, eyes pooled with love, admiring him. A small smile playing on her lips. My mind immediately went to Taehyung.
"Yaah, pay attention to you girlfriend" I teased him
"No no, I'm okay. You guess carry on. You two met after years. I'm enjoying listening to you two" Sofia said immediately as soon as she heard me.
Justin is sure lucky to have her.
"Show us some pics, Areu- Aera!!" I quickly glared at him.
"Okay" with that I fished my phone from my pocket and handed it to him not before unlocking it. I had captured each of the boys. They play an essential part in my life along with Rose. Sofia scooted over to peek
"Woah!!! Who are these guys? They are handsome" Sofia said checking each boy out in the photos. Justin glared at her. Jealous much. Sensing his look, we both burst out laughing, " don't worry. I'm loyal to you" The girl told Justin who huffed
Loyal.
The word which struck me hard. The word which took my imagination to Taehyung who failed to keep the word
"Please tell me the names. They are looking alike to me. Are they siblings?" Justin interrupted to which I rolled my eyes at his stupidity
As we went through the photos. I kept on saying the names and of course, Justin was struggling to pronounce them except for Rose. While Sofia was doing real smoothly.
"What unique names they have" Justin rolled his eyes to which he earned a slap on his shoulders by me. Of course.
Instantly my smile dropped. Justin had slid revealing a photo of him which Jungkook took with my phone
"Aera who is this? He looks so handsome just like an anime" Again Justin glared at her but I was too lost in my world.
"PARK AREUM"
I snapped. That name. The name which I told everyone to keep a secret. And Justin had fucking shouted at me with that name
"Justin, you asshole what did I say about that name? Don't call me that, that too here" I said in a monotone, gritting my teeth at him
"Sorry, but I was calling you for the past 3 minutes but you were lost. Are you okay?"
"Oh" was all that came out of my mouth. Again Sofia being the observant one, noticed me. She quickly changed the topic
"So who's this boy or Should I say anime character?"
"Kim Taehyung." I closed my eyes for a moment, "My stepbrother"
"Woah you have a stepbrother?" Justin asked to which I nodded
Before he could ask anything more, our good was served on the table. I was glad this whole conversation came to an end.
The trio finished their so-called lunch with jokes and headed towards his house.
Little did they knew what was Aera going through
