Lisa
"Let's just break up..." he said, not even looking into my eyes.
Those words slipped out of his mouth so effortlessly. How can he just say those words so easily when we literally fought for our relationship for almost 3 years?
He stood up from his seat when he got no response from me. I just look at him with pure disbelief, not wanting this reality to hit me yet.
"Jung—"
"I'm sorry, Lisa." Those were the last words he told me before he left me there, alone, unwanted, betrayed...
Broken.
I watch his back slowly fading away as he walk further and further. Until it's too late for me to run to him and beg him to not leave me. I just sat there, hoping he'll be the one to look back and run towards me.
But I was wrong. I hoped too much, I trusted too much, I loved too much.
That's why I'm hurting too much.
I tried my best to stand up from my seat but I nearly collapsed on the ground. Luckily, my hands gripped the back rest of the chair.
And large pair of hands wrapped both my shoulders.
"Oh—you okay, Miss?" A familiar voice asked.
I looked back and saw a guy covered in black mask and black cap. Though his brown hazelnut hair didn't go unnoticed.
My eyes went to his, "I'm fine." I said, covering my face too even though I'm already wearing a mask. Being an idol lurking in Hongdae's streets wasn't a good idea.
But I risked it all for him.
"A-Are you sure?" The guy seemed worried and kept peeking through my buckethat so I just nodded and pulled away from his touch.
I went on and left the café.
Jennie
I was busy cooking in the kitchen when I heard the front door opening. I turned around to see Lisa taking off her jacket.
"Wow, you're earlier than expected—" I was cut off when she didn't even notice me and walked straight to her room.
"That disrespectful brat just ignored me." I eyed Jisoo unnie who is watching TV with Chae.
She just shrugged her shoulders and continued watching with Chae. I sighed in defeat and turned off the stove.
After which, I walked towards Lisa's door and knocked, "Lisa, open this door." I demanded.
I was about to knock again when I heard sobs. I immediately furrowed my brows and twisted the knob. Luckily, it wasn't locked.
I peeked through the door and saw Lisa hugging her knees on the floor as she sob quietly.
"Lali..." I entered her room and locked the door behind me to make sure the others won't hear.
She was shocked and immediately wiped her tears away when she saw me entering.
"U-Unnie... D-Do you need anything?" She stood up and tried to give me the sweetest smile.
I just stood there and eyed her state. I can see through her. So as her sister, I did what I could.
I walked closer to her and engulfed her in a tight hug.
"Unnie? What's wrong?" Lisa chuckled.
I sighed and shut my eyes close as she still tried to act like nothing was wrong. She's a stubborn little brat and really a pain in the ass but she's precious to us.
"It's okay... Unnie is here." I caressed her hair.
She just stayed quiet for a good minute when I finally felt her hands slowly hugging me back. Then I felt my right shoulder getting soaked. That's when I realized she's quietly crying.
The last time I saw her cry like this was when she missed her parents so much and had to fight extreme separation anxiety.
Lisa pulled away from the hug and I went in contact with her puffy eyes and soaking wet cheeks. I cupped her face and wiped the tears away.
"Thank you, Jennie unnie." She smiled at me.
I nodded at her, "Now tell me who should my Chanel handbag will hit?"
She chuckled at my silly joke, "You're ridiculous."
"I am. But seriously, Lisa. Why are you crying? You can tell me." I assured her and dragged her to the bed and sat.
She sighed at me and then she slowly nodded, hesitating to tell me or not.
"H-He... broke up with me." She spilled.
And I was about to lose my shit when I just heaved a very deep sigh and tried to calm myself from taking out one population of the rabbit community.
But mostly because I didn't want to put anymore fuel to the fire and startle Lisa.
"Did he tell you why?" I asked in a calm manner. Lisa just shook her head and tears started streaming down her face again.
"Unnie... W-We were just fine yesterday. He even texted me he loves me and how much he misses me. That's why he asked me to meet him tonight. But why? Why did he break up with me unnie?" She bursted out.
I could only furrow my brows in sadness as I watch Lisa cry on her palm.
"Do I look ugly, Unnie? Am I not enough?" She doubted herself.
"He must've had a reason, Lisa. Think about it... Why don't you ask him why he broke up with you before you jump into conclusions?" I held both her shoulders.
I'm not on that rabbit's side but I just have this strong instinct that he somehow had a reasonable explanation.
Because I've known him ever since they were dating and I could tell Jungkook was all over Lisa. He was all about her. And suddenly breaking up with her is suspicious enough.
"But—"
"Just call him, Lisa. Tell him to meet you tomorrow and make him explain." I said to her.
She looked at me and obediently nodded. She took her phone from her pocket and tried to find her now ex boyfriend.
I watch her as she stared at her phone screen, contemplating whether to dial his phone number or not.
"Lali, call him. You deserve an explanation." I assured her.
She nodded at me and finally dialed the jerks number.
"Turn it on loudspeaker." I demnaded which she immediately obeyed.
After six consecutive rings, he finally answered.
"J-Jungkook?" Lisa stuttered.
"Hello? Who is this?" a feminine voice said.
I raised an eyebrow at Lisa's phone, "Umm... Excuse me? May I know your name first? This is Lis—"
"Oh, it's Eunha. Jungkook just took a bath. He'll be back soon." she cut her off.
