Dear Diary,

Once again, I am graced with her presence in our usual meeting place.

Usual. I like the sound of it. I hope it remains this way.

I think she actually noticed me at our last encounter. Took a liking to me. I'd like to think this is why she has returned.

I hope this is so. And if not, I am ok to pretend for a while, until it becomes true.

I promise that I am a fascinating person, a person worthy of her time and attention.

There I go getting ahead of myself again. I am glad that I am confined to the safety of this book. Otherwise she may find me strange.

But I am the best kind of strange. This, I can surely say.

Dull moments would be nonexistent, should she decide to spend them in my company.

As would lonely ones.
Sad ones, too. Or definitely minimized.
