*time skip*

"I thought I'd find you somewhere away from the crowd" she smiled and sat next to me

"Shouldn't you be with your people Your Grace?" I scoffed, looking at the tree and looked away from her

"Don't be like this Geralt, I didn't choose to be Queen of The North." she turned my face a little towards her and caressed my cheek "If I would have the chance to choose, you know I'd choose to be with you and Cirilla" she says, holding my hand

"But destiny already interviened with your choice, with the deaths of your husband, your sister and your unborn baby" I sighed, pulling away and stood up "You're Winterfell's queen and it will stay that way. Being a ruler is your destiny" I looked away from her again and tried to step away but she grabbed my arm and stood up

"Fuck destiny Geralt! I already said no to this throne once and I can do it again!" she spat

"What can you possibly want from me then?! You know I can't give you a child and yet you still want to give up your power over the North to be with someone like me!" I spat back

"I love you!" she cried "I thought I will never love someone after Jaime, but then you came to Westeros and you changed my beliefs about everything in this cruel world" she cups my cheeks and kissed me

I wanted to kiss her back and tell her I felt the same way as she did but I can't lose the woman I love because of me once again

"I'm sorry, I can't. I pulled away and sighed "Your people need you" I turned around and began to walk away

"Geralt-" She gasped as I heard something pierce through her

I turned around and saw a woman with short golden hair and a tore up dress and she has her sword deep into the woman I love

The short haired lady cackled "She can finally be with my brother Witcher!" she exclaimed sarcastically as she pulled her sword away from her body and ran

"No!" I caught her body and sobbed my heart out

"SOFIA!" I gasped and jolted up in my bed, panting a little

Who was that woman in my dream? Why did it felt so real?

"What's gotten in you today Geralt? You seem awfully quieter than usual" Jaskier said as he sat next to me in a tavern

"Hm" I groaned out and drank my ale

"Who is Sofia, Geralt?" Ciri asked curiously "I heard you scream out her name last night" she added

"Perhaps it's a new lady he met" Jaskier teased "I mean it's been a year since Yennefer-" I glared at him for mentioning her name making him go silent for a bit

"Just shut up Jaskier, Geralt doesn't want to tell us who Sofia is" Ciri scolded him

"I don't know who she is..." I answered truthfully "But I feel like what happened in my dream is real" I sighed

"Do you even know where she lives?" Jaskier asked, trying to pry off more information

"Stop asking so many questions Jaskier" I huffed, drinking my ale once more

Suddenly an unfamiliar voice was heard "You're a Witcher" I turned around and saw a girl, a few years older than Ciri and wore an unfamiliar outfit that isn't from here

"What is it that you want?" I ask, gulping the last of my ale

"My village has been attacked by a striga and my brother told my guards that only a Witcher can best it" she motioned to two men with armor "It's in Winterfell, North of Westeros" she added "We'll pay you and your friends if you can help us" she says

Jaskier scoffed "We don't even know where this Winterfell is, how can we be so sure that-" Jaskier was cut off

"We're in, We'll help you with the striga" Ciri said as she looked at me knowingly

"Well that was quick" the girl chuckled and nodded to her guards and the two men stood up and stood next to her"I thought I was going to resort to brute force" she chuckled

"Who are you?" I asked as the girl smirked a little

"Arya... Arya Stark of Winterfell"
