"Hm, it's creepy" he teased with a soft hum

"It's romantic" I tease back, kissing him sweetly, he kisses me back before pulling away "How are your wounds?" I asked

"They're much better, thanks to you" he smiles, caressing my cheek

"When do we leave for The Continent?" I ask, sitting carefully in his lap

"You're coming with me?" he asked "What about your people? Your siblings? Your-" I put my finger on his soft lips

"I talked to Sansa and my Uncle Edmure" I began "I told them that Rickon should be the heir to Winterfell, they will announce it to our allies today" I smiled, kissing him again

He wraps his arms around my waist tightly, deepening the kiss, I happily moan inside his mouth as I felt his cock harden against my arse

But before things can escalate between us once again, someone is pounding on my door

"Princess Sofia! You must come downstairs! It's important!" Killian said with urgency in his tone

"I'll be right down Killian!" I yell out with a sigh as I got off of Geralt's lap and chose a new dress to wear

I escorted Sofia to the throne room, only to find two men, helping an unfamiliar wounded man

"N-No- It can't be...." I hear Sofia mumble as she stops in her tracks

I looked at her and she was focused on the wounded man who had an unkempt and dark blonde hair

That must be Jaime Lannister, Lord of Casterly Rock... Her husband

I guess she still cares about him, It's evident with the way he looks at his unconscious body

"You should go tend to him, he's still your husband after all" But before I can hear her response I turned away and went to the stables to find Roach

I'm doing this for her to be happy

But before I could leave and get Roach, Duchess blocked the entry way, as if she was stopping me, whining and nudging me back inside, I knelt down and sighed, caressing her soft fur

"I don't deserve her Duchess" I smiled weakly "Take care of her for me okay?" I kissed the top of her head before going to the stables

"You can't just leave Geralt!" Ciri protested "What about Sofia?! She loves you!" she exclaims as she and Jaskier stop me from leaving Winterfell

"Jaime would be better suited for her, he is a Lord and he can give her children" I mumble as I put a saddle onto Roach

"So what?! I see how she loves you and cares about you more than anyone! She wouldn't give a fuck if you can never give her children!" Jaskier spat "Jaime has been gone for a year and from what Joren told me, he has never seen Sofia like she is with you when she was with him!" he added

"If you like it here so much then stay and fucking leave me be." I spat back "She'll be better off without me in her life!" I shouted

"So this is what you're doing?! Leaving me all alone here in Winterfell?!" Sofia spat angrily as he walked towards me and Roach

"Let's go Ciri, they need to work this out on their own" Jaskier said, taking her hand before they went back inside the castle

"You have your husband, seems to me that he's not dead after all" I answered as stoically as I could

"You're just going to leave me like this?!" she shouted angrily, tears beginning to fall on her face

Seeing her like this breaks my heart... But I want to give her the life she deserves and that is with her husband

"He can give you a better life, I was just here to warm his place on your bed"  I answered back, trying not to show how much I wanted to stay and be with her

"I don't want him Geralt! I want you! I choose you!" she cried, cupping my cheeks and kissing me sweetly

I kissed her back, one last time before pulling away

"I'm choosing him for you Sofia... He can give the things I can't... I love you and I want what's best for you... Even if I'm not the person you're spending your life with" I removed her hand on my cheeks with a sigh

"N-No... Geralt p-please stay!" she sobbed as I got on Roach, she held my hand tightly before I can grab hold of the reins

I smiled and kissed her hand before letting it go

"Your Grace, The Witcher has left the castle according to Jaskier" Joren stated with a frown after Jaime had been settled in Sofia's chambers

"Did he tell the bard why he left?" I ask, curious as to why he left so suddenly

"Yes My Queen, it's about Princess Sofia and the return of Lord Jaime" he sighs sadly and I instantly knew what he meant by it, I stood up as I went to find my sister, I finally found her by the Weirwood tree, with Duchess by her side comforting her

"You were in love with him" I sighed and pulled her into a tight embrace, she instantly sobbed in my arms "He doesn't deserve you Sof... He never did" I caressed her hair and comforted my heartbroken sister

"I was ready to leave Winterfell with him" she sniffled "He wanted me to be happy with Jaime..." She added softly

"He made the right choice, you're safer with Jaime than you are with him" I wiped her tears and gave her a genuine smile

She pulls away from me coldly "But I won't be with the man I love" she stood up "I'll see you in the morning Sansa, Duchess" she went back inside the castle with Duchess behind her, clearly being upset just like her mistress upon Geralt of Rivia's departure
