Tropical Flounder
Everyone has left already, the two of them all alone in a dimly lit cave. Mist started fiddling with the chains around Flounder’s ankles, one by one taking them off and setting them down on the platform surface.
They started walking towards the entrance to the cave, Mist had stopped talking, so Flounder followed suit, doing the same. When they reached the entrance to the bright blue sky, she could see cotton ball like clouds dotting the sky.
They took off into the never ending blue sky. As they flew Flounder saw Mist waver in the sky, like she hasn’t flown her entire life, but she pressed on without hesitation. To see someone from her own tribe struggle so much was weird, her mother didn’t have any trouble flying, then again her mother few back and forth between the ocean and rainforest all the time.
Mist suddenly dove for the ocean, she almost looked as if she just went limp and was falling, but you could tell she was falling with purpose. Flounder tried to keep up with her mentors speed as they dropped from the sky. Then, SPLUSH! The blue seawing disappeared under the water.
