She remembered her mother's fond words about a tiny tribe in oceans quite far away, one so small it didn't even appear on most maps. One so insignificant, outside tribes tended to completely disregard it. Her mother said if one stood high in the hills, water could be seen on all sides, surrounding the land.
So she decided the best thing they could do was try to find the tiny place. Her companion didn't agree, but he helped her regardless.
