Kokonoe: Somewhere along the road, Crocodile's dream eventually died. Probably somewhere around the time he became a Shichibukai, challenge Whitebeard, and got his ass kicked because of it.
Junko: Either way, he remained a Shishi... Chichi...

Junko: Right. He remained a warlord and became the president of Baroque works. He remained in Alabasta and made himself look like a hero to their people. All while he was secretly plotting to take control of Alabasta himself. That is until a boy made of rubber came up and stopped his plans.
Kokonoe: Don't act like it was easy. It took Luffy three tries to actually beat the guy. The only reason he survived the first two was because of pure dumb luck and Crocodile's cruel nature of having his opponents die slow deaths when he's pissed off.
Junko: True. Crocodile is definitely not one to be underestimated. Heck, he's the only one in the show so far to have a hook for a hand.
