Chapter 25: Faith

-Two days later- (Wednesday)

We were on our free period sitting outside. Well, Sara was more laying in the floor than sitting, but you get the idea. Hunter was throwing pebbles at Sara, while she blocked them screaming that she was a freaking ninja.  Keithlin was studying for our Spanish test with Taylor while I was reading the news paper, searching for a job for dad.  My eyebrows were forrowed in concentration.

Suddenly Sara sighed in frustration and sat up.

"Hah! I made you frustrated." Stated Hunter hi-fiving Taylor with a grin.

Sara rolled her eyes. "Not you, idiot. Pebbles are no match for me! I'm frustrated by Samantha!"

I took my eyes off the newspaper for the first time. "You called me Sara?"

Sara sighed again with more frustration, if it even was posible. "Sami, chill. You have been reading the newspaper non stop! Take a break, it kills my mood and self to see you like this."

I rolled my eyes. "No it won't Sara. I'm just in a hurry. I want to find dad a job as soon as possible. For now, I've only found a job at the bus station, which I don't think he'll like."

Hunter hummed and scooted beside me. "Sami, we all know how worried you are for your family, but getting stressed about it won't do no good."

I took a big breath. "I know, I know." I caressed my temples with closed eyes. "It's just that I feel helpless. The only thing that I could came up with to help dad was to find him a job, and even that idea wasn't mine! It was Ian's! I just don't want to sit back and watch my family suffer for being job less..."

Taylor coughed a little. "I'm going to practice Spanish while speaking my mind, if I say something wrong, Keithlin please say it at the end. And traduce too. So here it goes... 'Samantha, creo que tus esres magnificant pol hacerr eso por tus papá. Pero debris ver que estros susdio em hace pocu.' Please traduce Keithlin."

Keithlin chuckled and said. "Your getting better at speaking, but still have flaws. Big flaws... Ok, she said that you, Samantha, are magnificent for doing that for your dad. But, you have to understand that this happened not too long ago. Is that right Taylor? I didn't understand some words you wanted to say."

"Yes..." Taylor said between teeth glaring at Keithlin, who grinned.

I nodded, I already understood Spanish, but some things she said didn't really make sense.

"Yea. I know." I pursed my lips.

Hunter hugged me while I placed my head on his shoulder. "Hey hey! No sad faces. Now, how about a cute smile?"

I smiled as if in a command, who can say no to Hunter?

The moment was interrupted by Hunter's watch, making a beep to signal that our next class was about to start. At that, the bell rang.

I pouted. "I don't feel like taking my Spanish test right now."

"Come on! Cheer up! Ian won't like seeing you sad. He'll be sad as well." Hunter said with a wiggle of his eyebrows. He looked funny.

I rolled my eyes and punched Hunter on the shoulder.

"Fast! Tell me how to say taco in Spanish!" Taylor screamed.

Sara chuckled. " 'Taco' "

Taylor glared at Sara. "I'm serious Sara! How do I say taco in Spanish?!"
