Adrian POV

It's been a few days and I still couldn't stop thinking about Ethans daughter. Just the whole scenario kept replaying in my mind when I went to his house.
There was something really odd about her, I had to know what it was?

I tried looking up the Melanie on Social media and it turned out she had no social media. Now a days everyone had social media, but she didn't.

I also has to get someone get me any other information and no results as I was expecting.

She was a straight A student and graduated on the top ten in school.

Melanie, ended up doing online college? Which she still ended up with good grades? Apparently, she ended up majoring in Accounting. I wonder why didn't she help Mendez with his company. Or help him manage his money?

Okay, so my thoughts of her being a gold digger were still in process though, even though she still showed none.

Tomorrow I was going to marry her. We were just going to have a small ceremony. Only my witness were going to be there, which were my two loyal workers. Christine and Aaron . These two have been dating and we're getting married in a few months.  Aaron friend of mine and Christine was one of my assistants.

I know these two wouldn't ask anything nor tell anyone about this stupid marriage.

Thank goodness its only for six months.

I didn't want my daughter to be there tomorrow, but I knew my mother would start asking Vivian if she knew Melanie and they would all suspect even more that this isn't real.

I went towards Vivian's room and she was dressed up in a princess dress that my mother had bought her.

"Hi princess, what are you doing?"

"I'm playing princesses daddy."

"Sweetheart, there something I need to talk to you about."

"Are we not having chocolate cake anymore for dinner daddy."

"No sweetheart, we still are."
She and her chocolate cake I thought.

"Yay."

"You see there's someone that going to come in live here with us ."

"Who is it daddy."

"Her name is Melanie. She's getting married with me"

I wanted to be honest with my daughter so she would tell anything to my parents.

"Are you still going to love me daddy."

"Of course I am sweetheart. Nothing is going to change."

"Okay. When is she going to come."

"Tomorrow sweetheart. If she tells you anything or makes you feel uncomfortable, you let me know right away okay."

"Yes, daddy."

Later that night I slept really late I just couldn't take Melanie out of my mind I kept recalling that face expression she had, like if she was asking me something. I had to stop thinking about her.

I left to the gym that I had in my house and got back and showered. It was already one in the morning and I still couldn't sleep. I went to check on my daughter and kissed her forehead.

Vivian was my only priority and that was only going to be for my whole life. I'm just hoping She doesn't get attached to Melanie. It's only going to be six months that she's going to live here and knowing Vivian she such a smart and caring person. I don't want to see her sad.

Before I knew it sleep overtook me and all my thoughts went back to Melanie in a dream.
