Chapter 3: Details of the codex:

(REMINDER: In the previous chapter our Main lead tested the new spells that had appeared in the codex but they were way stronger than what she had imagined .
Now without further adue let's dive into the story)

The realm of Angels
All the four angels were sitting in a room. Hibari(the black themed angel) asked,"have the chief God given the details of the codex?".Uwair (the white themed angel ) replied,"Ofcourse he knows everything...". There was total silence all around. "What are the details then?",Stella asked."The codex has immense power & a strong emotion of protection is required to use the book. To open the book, a lot of magecraft mastery is required. Spells in the codex are unlimited and the codex contains the knowledge of everything that Theo knows...." Uwair answered "but the most disturbing fact is that the codex can grant immortality and strength equal to us angels to someone who uses it with an emotion of regret " he added. "Theo is weaker than us so it doesn't matter" Ashlyn said." It does matter, the codex is in the realm of humans. For a human even Theo's power is enough to wipe out the current human population " Hibari said. "There is now way a weakling human can have enough power to open the codex" Uwair stated."No, there is a girl named Warisha in the human realm who is currently the user of the codex of Amarantha." Ashlyn said. " I knew it! humans are fragile with weak and wavering beliefs. She will make a mistake for sure", Stella said. The lights in the yellow lit room went blue " Thats exactly correct Stella.I threw the codex down for that girl. She'll use it for good,then she'll use it to stay with her love. The codex never misses a chance to cause regret in someone's life"
The human realm
Warisha woke up and got out of her house. Outside her house there was a great fuss. Everyone was trying to give her gifts, saying "Thank you for saving our town yesterday"."I need to go & no need to thank me.It's my job to protect my town", she said while walking past the crowd. She arrived at the forest. Leo was not there yet, so she decided to test some new spells."Codex ! give me arc..." she said as the book changed into a bow.The bow was made totally of purple coloured crystals that changed colour from light to dark shades of amethyst." It was amazing.What else can that book transform into?" Leo said as he walked from behind her. She shocked at his sudden appearance and the arc transformed back into the book form of the codex. She quickly turned back to face him as the book was taking its form. "Oh its you.....you scared me..." she said, giving out a sigh of relief. "You didn't answered my question. Whatelse can this book of yours transform into?" Leo asked in a cold tone." Basically speaking, it can change into anything.A bow,a lance,a sword,metal gloves,staffs,katanas and it can even change into wings for short flight." she said as the book changed into everything she said. As she finished her statement she was 2 feet above the ground as the book had taken the form of wings behind her back. The wings were white translucent(semi-transparent) in colour. "But the most powerful out of all the weapons is the arc. But I'm still unable to use it..." she said as the book changed into the arc (the purple crystal bow) and she landed on her feet on the rock she was sitting on. Leo was looking at him as if he was thinking something, his mouth part open as if he wanted to say something but couldn't find the appropriate words to make the statement."You lied to me that day, didn't you?" he  stated."What day?" she asked confused. " When you said you had to fully concentrate to make your spell work while healing me....Yesterday you healed me and performed the blast at the same time, which means you diverged your concentration" Leo explained. "Y-yes, it was a test of the very first spell that I made.I was scared if it failed,they would humiliate me " she said after taking a deep breath."Weren't you scared if I humiliated you?" Leo asked her directly looking her in the eyes. His blue eyes continued to stare in her red ones. She was thinking...thinking of a reasonable answer she could give him.She never thought or knew that why was she not scared of being humiliated by Leo if she failed. Deep down in her heart,she knew it was because she honed feelings for him and she wanted to tell him this. But it wasn't the right time for her to confess. They barely knew each other and there was a gap of emptiness between them. She had to say something so she did."To me, you semmed like a kind person" was what she said. Leo's eyes quickly shifted from her eyes to behind her. He had spotted something...something huge."Here it comes..." he said. Warisha turned around and looked at that monster. It was huge, green in colour. In one of his hands, he held a piece of log. He had three horns in hid head and his canines were hanging out of his mouth. He was staring at them with his angry brown eyes, as he walked towards them. "What is this..." Warisha said. She was still processing that a gigantic beast had just appeared before them. "Who killed my kin yesterday!? Whoever did it,he destroyed the forest's balance! I'll kill him!" the monster said with a thundering and coarse voice. His ability to speak clearly described that the development of his brain was beyond that of normal monsters. Warisha looked at him,took a deep breath & then stepped forward." The forest give you enough food.You don't have to invade the town in search of food.Am I wrong?" Warisha stated."Shut up!"the monster roared as he dashed towards her with his full strength leaving behind a trail of dust.He approached her and brought the piece of log in his hand, down to hit her. As soon as the log came down a shield formed around Warisha. transparent green in colour. The monster got back and looked at her. Her hair waving in the air and her codex opened in front of her giving out a light green aura."Codex ! give me bow" she said as the codex transformed into a green and black bow it was also crystalline. She took aim and as soon as the monster moved forth, "discharge..." she said as three portals ranging from larger to smaller formed infront of her bow. Within the three portals there was a green arrow of light. The arrow was released. The monster had also jumped towards her as the arrow pierced through the chest of the beast making a fine hole. The monster fell to the ground, dead. "Absorb his energy" she said as the monster's body faded. The codex changed back into its original book form as she turned around to face Leo. He was looking at her, his jaw dropped " you're so strong that you don't even need me.Firing lighy arrows from a book that can change into any weapon...that's super awesome!" he said. "Oh it's nothing. I was born good at magecraft" she said." I guess you can take care of this all by yourself...you're way stronger than me afterall...." Leo said. It was obvious that he was jealous of Warisha's raw power. She took the hint. "I won't take part in the next battles. I'll only support you. I'm sure you can use my strength better than me" she quickly replied. " Oh really? I wonder how strong it'll make me" Leo said. They both continued to talk for hours until the night shift arrived and they went to their homes. Leo entered his mansion only to see his father waiting for him in the hallway." You have a guest Leo.She's waiting for you in the guest room" his father said upon seeing him. Leo entered his room,took a bath , changed clothes and left his room.He entered the guest room and saw someone sitting there on a chair by the window. Silky long hair as golden as sunshine. Her skin as white as snow. Light emerald eyes staring out of the window , she sat there in the evening sun rays entering the room from the window beside her. Her beauty unmatched and was way above the beauty of any person of that time. Wearing a skin dress, and a dark green shawl on her soulders she looked oh so attractive . "Juliana ! when did you came here?" Leo asked happily. Happiness flowed out of his heart upon seeing her fiance. " Well I thought that my dear  fiance wasn't coming to see me so I came to see you by myself" she replied as she turned her gaze. "You owe me an apology" she said . "I can't help it...I am busy in protecting the town" Leo said. "Protection reminded me of the wound. I heard you got a wound on your back during a fight. Let me see it" Juliana said as she got of her chair and walked towards him."Easy dear...it's no more there...there's an impressive mage in our town who can defeat anyone. She healed it in an instant" Leo said. " That sounds ....good.... I was scared to the core when I got the news that you got seriously injured. I instantly rushed to here from my town, but it still took me three days to reach here" she said as she came near him. He held her delicate hands in his own as he landed a kiss on the engagement ring she was wearing. "I'll be careful next time,I promise " he assured. They both continued to look into each other's eyes.
     In her old house on her bed laid Warisha. She was staring at the cieling trying to sleep as she started talking to herself," he's so perfect...everything about him,his silence,his coldness,his deep blue eyes, silver hair,the way he holds his sword,the way he gets jealous.....am I in ....love...." she said as she fell asleep tired from her work in the daytime. In her dreams she was in a dark place covered with fog. She was looking all around as in the distance a figure appeared. Her hair black, eyes red, crystalline white-silver wings, appeared Ashlyn. "Warisha! do not let regret take over you . You'll be fine as long as you continue to love someone but if you regret..." Ashlyn said. Warisha shockingly woke up from her dream. "Regret....Love.... What does this mean..." she said the words that were left in her mind
The realm of Angels
Ashlyn appeared. "Ashlyn,have you done your job?" an echoing voice asked. "Yes...." she said."I just wanted to ask you.Will we be fine after the so-called Event of the full moon" she added after taking a deep breath. " No you wont be fine....you will be no longer after that night. The life of my last angel at the time will end that day" the voice replied. Ashlyn got on her knees and bowed. "You created me and even if you take my life I won't object" she said.
The End
(It is the codex's ability to absorb the energy of every enemy defeated by it, and strengthen itself)
