Our bond is ancient
in the literal sense.
It draws from where it descents
that's why we're still being friends.
The context was different,
we both had this need
for a person we call family
despite the unfamiliarity.
But times have changed
and so have our needs.
That's when we started to see
that we don't really agree.
Our friendship is fragile
like an historic Greek relict.
Reminiscing times of glory
but can it withstand conflict?
Relict friend - Bella M.
