I sipped my wine gently as I stared at the crowd, avoiding contact with Jonah. I should've welcomed him instead of avoiding him. Matter of fact he tried to push me away first mentally while he stared down at me with that dagger's eyes.

I started down my plate and as lost the appetite to even eat it- this is the first time that I've lost my appetite for a deliciously good meal. A frown plastered on my face as my mind wandered somewhere from here. I just loathe from the fact that I have the guts to be mad at him when he should be the other way around. I rested my head on my palm as I played the food with my fork, guilty and bored. Huh.

But, the only thing that has understood me is this place has a minibar. At least you got me alcohol, you'll let me forget about shits.

I sat one of the stools and placed my order. "Can I have a pineapple juice but add a little vodka in it, " I said.

"I'm sorry ma'am but- your dad told me you're forbidden to drinking any alcoholic related." He frowned at me, a scowl soon replaced my bored expression.

Stupid dad.

"Well, just don't tell him that I drank an alcoholic beverage, that'll solve the problem." I shrugged.

"I'm sorry but I am just following what I'm told to do."

"Come on-" I stopped to read his name. "-don? Just this once, I promise you won't lose your job."

I look at him in the eyes, he looks back hesitantly. He nodded and look behind me to see if my dad would find out about this. "Okay, Ma'am." He pulled different types of things and shook it with the others. I don't know how these things work so.

I look back at me and saw someone who I've never seen before. Is she a distant family member? Or a daughter of an old friend? She doesn't look the same as the people in here- no resemblance no nothing. But she looks so elegant though.

I stared deeply at her while I fiddled with the strap of my purse. I licked my bottom lips as I squinted my eyes to take a better look. Hm, she's not familiar to me at all.

She was talking to an old friend and laugh for a bit- who are you? When she noticed that something was up she craned her head in my direction. I gasped and quickly look away.

On-time, my drink is here. "Enjoy," Don said and wiped his hands. I nodded and drank the delicious beverage, I can feel the alcohol as it slightly made my throat cold.

I need more. Time to have a plan. I fiddled with my fingers as I used my brain for the first time today- hope this will work.

"Hey, Don?" I called. He looks at me with an arched eyebrow.

"Yes, ma'am?" He said walking up to me.

"Do you have an unused water bottle?"

"Yeah, I got it right here. Why?" He stared at me in askance. I look away for a bit to find a better explanation and so he can buy this.

"Put vodka in it and give it to me, " I whispered. Yes, this is my holy plan. I stared at him in hope. "I-I promise I'll pay you, "

"Ma'am, you're father forbid me to let you drink alcoholic beverages. And you've crossed the line." He shook his head and head back to what he was doing. I puffed a sigh and stuck my tongue at him. Oh, who am I kidding? I act like a child.

I got off on the stool and went back to the food section- thank God it wasn't close to where Jonah is. As I'm walking towards it, I kind of noticed something strange- like as if I'm being stabbed in the back. I stopped dead on my tracks and look around.
