Saddened growth

It was night and the young girl stared out from her sill to count her wishes once more.
Wishing love, and kindness after all her pain, each day, going to her sill, wishing every night.
Yet her wishes we're never heard, and slowly her thoughts went dull, her wish full eyes that once sparkled, now bland and deep brown, and her hair that once was beautiful, became messy, and her beautiful figure, stunted and she widened.
Her life felt hopeless as she walked the roads.
She stopped viewing the sky from her sill, and soon
her gloom became intoxicating.

She was no longer the bright naive little girl, rather she was now a knowledged dim adult, who couldn't see the brightness around her
