[song for chapter: Feel Special-TWICE] || October 29th 2023 || ••• The long awaited day has risen upon us darlings,the day I wished for my entire life. My debut stage. Jungkook is M COUNTDOWN's MC alongside G-Friend's Eunha today,we talked briefly backstage since it was so chaotic neither of us had time to speak. While I sat comfortably in my chair,the stylist "Jinah" the boys hired for me is preparing my outfit. She also doubles as my translator since she's from the states like me,her being a western girl (California) and me a eastern girl from Brooklyn. Although we at first bickered on how either side was better than each other and we eventually became friends somehow despite all the fighting in the beginning. Jessica (J-Hope's girlfriend) is my makeup artist and she studies my face carefully with every stroke of her makeup brush. I stare back at her smiling,the same girl I'm staring at with platform black heels and black lace dress with a leather jacket hugging her curves smugly. This is the same girl who comes over to the house in grey sweats,fuzzy slippers with mix match socks and usually a mustard yellow colored hoodie. This same girl dressed like a bratz doll that came to life,transformed in front of me and left me shocked. I see why Hobi loves her so much though. Despite her initial cold looks,she's a total softie who constantly stops what she's doing to make sure I'm drinking water or to check if I'm uncomfortable. After she finished my eyeliner perfectly,I gasp seeing myself in the mirror. Is this is the same woman who struggles to get out of bed with at least a decent hairstyle everyday? A woman who wakes up in the middle of the night to her 3 year old daughter screaming and crying for her parents half asleep. A woman who then grabs her crying toddler and carries her off to the same bed her and her husband sleep at,to then shove her daughter in between her and husband's bodies. Before falling into a deep slumber. But all this bliss would be cut short especially if Yumi sleepwalked her way downstairs and I would have to search for her in large pitch black house. I could've try staring into the dark abyss but it would've strained my eyes which would've made me more tired than I was feeling at that moment. So I would go by touch and when I felt her soft,small hands I knew to carry her back to our room. This time I would lock the door and after that our night would go smoothly. I was so shocked at the face that was in the mirror. My own reflection surprised me and I smiled brightly signaling Jessica that she did a amazing job,she let out a sigh of relief and grabbed her chest. Rejoicing quietly that her job for the day was complete,I head my way to the waiting area to sit and wait for them to announce me. I look at the monitors that are recording everything outside and I see my husband appear on screen. Looking finer than ever,Eunha looking like a actual disney princess ripped out of a movie in that long length sky blue dress. I look down at my outfit and smirk,I won't be surprised if Jungkook shows up at my dressing room afterwards when I'm trying to change my outfit.

She's with her godmother (Ashley) while they both watch from home with Mingyu and the twins. -meanwhile- Jungkook's POV: I smile at Eunha,who keeps getting close to me. I back away quietly since she's been like this for a while now and it's apparent she likes me but I'm happily married to the woman who I took this job for the day just to support her,her dreams matter the entire world to me. I had no idea Lana had such a dream like this and it feels so special for me to help her bring it to life. All she ever wanted was at least one song with her voice singing so people could listen and feel inspired just like she was growing up listening to her favorite artists. Eunha taps my shoulder when the cameras shut off to go to commercial. "Kookie..when will you be free to hang out?" She asks me with her lips pouted. I turn my face slightly. "Whenever,I'll bring my wife and kid" I say and her facial expressions drop. "You're married? You're a father?" She asks me with a hint of sadness in her tone of voice. "Yes and yes" I say and she turns around. "I thought we still had a chance-" "Well you had a moment and you messed that up didn't you when you had the chance?" I ask her and she nods quietly. Before Yumi became my girlfriend,a year before I was actually dating Eunha secretly but she didn't take our relationship seriously. So I couldn't handle it especially when she was seen partying with her members that involved drinking and dancing with other men. I broke up with her leaving me with a gap in my heart at that time,after the breakup she automatically moved on with a new guy. It never bothered me I wanted her to be happy even if it wasn't with me. Now her and that guy have broken up after his plans of marriage scared her away. She thinks I would want to be with her but she's too late. I found my soulmate and it's time she finds hers. "Eunha..you can't keep running from love for long,by the time you do open up and let it in it'll be too late" I say and she stays silent for a while until the camera's red light turns on signaling us commercial break is over. We go live and I smile big when I read the little cue card I'm given by the production crew. "Charming. Sexy. New..is what this artist that's coming up is about to show. She's here to debut as a soloist under BigHit Labels. Give some of your love to..ALXNA" I say out loud. I remember she told me she wanted to be called "ALXNA" because that was her pen name in poetry class in middle school. She wanted something meaningful for her and she felt keeping her own name with a twist to it would be the way. -meanwhile- Alana's POV: "Give some of your love to ALXNA" I hear Jungkook's giddy voice loudly say. I grab my mic and walk onto stage. The crowd grows quiet assuming I'll just perform one song and stand still while singing that said song. Yes I was going to only perform one song,my debut song "Universe" But I was going to perform and dance around the stage,I didn't do dance lessons for me to just stand there and look pretty. The music starts and I stare directly into the camera with fire in my eyes. My adrenaline boils in my blood and is screaming to escape. After I performed my song,I look around to see everyone cheering and clapping. Including my husband who is staring from afar. I smile and blow him a kiss. Of course the photographer who's snapping photos of me snaps that photo while another snaps Jungkook. I giggle "Did I do good or what?" I mouth to him and he nods. "Amazing" he mouths back and I blush. After being interviewed,I walk down to hug my husband. He opens his arms and I run into his arms. Eunha faintly smiles at us and waves at me. "You did amazing.." she says and I smile unaware of the tension that seems to be between her and Jungkook until I glance up at him. He's visibly uncomfortable so we walk out to talk. "What's wrong?" I ask him grabbing both of his hands. "Awkward ex encounters that's all-" "Eunha was one of your exes?" I ask him and he nods. I look down at the floor. Well that was a hard pill to swallow.. "She doesn't matter to me,you did amazing! you're the only woman that's in my heart and head right now." He says noticing my quick change in mood. He hugs me tightly and I look up at him. "Any other famous exes I should know?" I ask him and he shakes his head. "No? You won't surprise me with another one right?" I ask him sticking my tongue out at him. We're back to our silly and goofy mood. No ex bothers me as long as he's with me. I'm the one that's married to him at the end of the day and we have Yumi. "I missed you all day" he says leaning in to kiss me. "Let's go home,these clothes are bothering me" I say groaning at the tight material. "Don't worry it'll be on the floor when we get to the door" he says smirking and I shake my head smirking. "You're so bad I love you" I say and he kisses me softly. "That's only the start of the night for us baby" he says and drags me to the car after we say goodbye to everyone.. My first ever live performance went so smoothly,I'm so happy I get to live out my wildest dreams with this man.. ••••••••••••••••••••••••
