No, no, no! How did I lose her already?She was right there! The feeling of not knowing her well enough came surging back, except this time, it was worse. Instead I felt guilty and lost at the thought that I lost Twilight. It's my fault that I let her slip away... now I'll never see her again... For some I guess I didn't realize how unreasonably stupid I was being. I just loved her company so much, and I didn't wanna be lonely.
After I sat in sorrow and guilt, I managed to get the courage to stand up and go find her. I didn't have to walk too far to find her. She was standing at the edge of a pool. I tried to convince myself that she was fine and that I was overreacting and she just wandered off to hunt. It wasn't working. She looked worried and she didn't even notice me nearing up to her.
"Hi Twilight..." I said. She looked towards me, numbly aware that I even there. Pain shook my heart as I saw pain and confusion in Twilight's eyes. "Huh...?"
"It's me Twilight, Jenny. Are you ok?"
For a second, I thought she had lost her memory and didn't remember me, the idea hurt me. But then she seemed to be brought back to life because the gleam on her eyes was back. "Oh hi Jenny! Sorry I was just dosing off into space! Silly me! Let's get going on our trip!"
AN: Well that was fast...
We continued walking through the forest when I heard a faint sound. It sounded like a morphed slither. Shadows started to form on the floor, moving serpents on ground. I turned around and my heart stopped. The creature had a long furry body, 2 paws with slimy claws, 4 ears, a tail longer than anything I've ever seen, with feathers on its tip, and 2 wings like a bird and bat.
