i had a girlfriend for 4 years and we have been living on the same street yet separate house with my mom and dad. i'll be very honest that those years have been stable for the both of us.

"i miss how your dad follows me around like i'm his boss" mom giggled as she sip. "he's a sweet man and i guarantee he's happy now"
my brows furrowed and my lips trembled, making sure to hold of my tears, a man who have been in love to a girl who left as well.
"those were 18 loving years, son" she faced me, her eyes are watery for she can't stop her tears from falling.
it has always been dad that's following mom around, it has always been him that's beside her the whole years, and i was always the same with my girlfriend, y/n

my loving years with y/n stopped unfortunately for she chose to be in a affair with dad, my dad who has been with mom decided to leave with y/n by surprise.
