Finally 12 comes. I think everyone was actually contemplating just going to sleep thats how bored we were. We creep out of the tent already changed into bathing suits. I'm the first one out and as my eyes start to adjust to the darkness I see other people beginning to creep out of their tents as well. I wait for Jase who comes out straight after me and then grab his hand. I pull him towards the lake. I'm running and just dragging him behind me, he's stumbling and trying to pull his hand out of mine. Once we reach the lake I pull him out further until the water reaches my stomach. I let go of his hand and swiftly push him down under the water before swimming away from him. Once I get a metre or so away from him i turn around so I'm looking at where i was standing with him. As i turn around he resurfaces spluttering for air.
"I will get you back for that Olivia" he says before diving back into the water. Before i have time to react to what he said i feel him grabbing onto my ankles. Next thing i know I'm under the water. I push myself up off the ground and kick until I'm above the water again. I splash water into his face.
"You ass why did you do that?" I ask him pretending to be mad. He shrugs at me.
"You started it" he says. I splash him again. He grabs my wrists holding my hands still so i cant splash him anymore. I try to pull my wrists out of his grasp but fail.
"Let me go" I whine to him
"Ill let you go if and only if you stop splashing me" he says. I nod my head and him and he reluctantly lets go of my wrists. Scarlett comes over and stands near us as if for safety.
"So i get you two are flirting and all but do you want to come jump off the cliff?" She asks pointing up to a small cliff. Now i get why she was standing over there she thought that we would attach her because of her flirting comment. She knows me too well doesnt she. I splash her with lots of water and while she is rubbing her eyes to try and get the water out of them i swim over and push her under the water.
"Do you wanna go jump off now?" i ask turning to face Jase. He npds at me looking shocked. Not sure as to wether that was to the flirting comment or the fact that i just pushed scarlett under the water.
"You go ahead. I will meet you up there" he says.
"Whatever suit yourself" i say starting to walk out of the water and up the hill.

I pull Scarlett out of the water.
"What was that? So i tell you that i kind of like Olivia and you come up and accuse us of flirting she doesn't like me!" I rant to her.
"I was testing a theory" she says shrugging at me.
"What theory?" I ask confused. What theory could she possibly have been testing.
"I was testing to see if olivia liked you" she says. I wonder what conclusion she came to.
"And what is your conclusion from that test?" I ask voicing my thoughts.
"I don't know i got water splashed in my face before i could tell" she says as if its the most obvious thing in the world. I shake my head at her and turn towards the cliff. I look for Olivia and see that she's next in the line to jump off. Olivia jumps and splashes into the water. It takes a minute or so before she resurfaces no to far away from me. I head over to her and see her shivering.
"Come on. Lets go back to the tent. Your freezing" i say grabbing her arms rubbing my hands against them to try and warm her up. We walk out of the water and back towards the tent. Once we get to it I grab a towel and some clothes out of her bag and hand them to her so she can get changed. I then grab a towel and some clothes for myself and change into them. I go and sit on one of the logs that were sitting around the fire and wait for Olivia to finish getting changed. She comes out of the toilet a few minutes later dry and in the warmer clothes.
"Hey come sit over here for awhile" I call to her. She walks over and sits beside me silently questioning why i wanted her to sit with me.
"Are we good friends?" I ask her.
"Yeah why?" She asks me.
"I want to tell you something but you have to promise it wont ruin our friendship" I say, hoping that she will agree with me because i want to tell her before Scarlett does.
"Ok" She asks frowning at me. "I dont know what you could say that would ruin our friendship but..." She trails off.
"I like you, as more than a friend" I start "But i feel like i'm not good enough for you?" I say phasing it like a question when it wasnt supposed to be. She sits there and studys my face probably trying to decipher if I'm lying or not.
"I cant deal with this right now I'll talk to you later" She says looking conflicted. SHe stands up and walks into the tent. what have i done? Did I seriously just ruin a friendship over a stupid crush?

Awwww poor Jase, Dont you just feel so sorry for him? I dont know if I want her to get into a relationship with Jase.
