Chapter 25

I pull my car into the garage and Scarlett and Hannah are already gaping at the size of my house and at the cars I have.

"You two are going to be uncontrollable inside my house" I say as we all start to get out of the car. As soon as we get our of the car the girls are running towards my fancier cars. 

"Can I drive it? PLEEASEEE?" Scarlett asks me.

"Maybe another day, but not today" I say to her.

"Finneeeee" She says stretching the word out longer than necessary.

We walk inside and as soon as we have I hear someone knocking on the front door. I wonder who that could be?

"You two, don't move" I strictly instrct them. I don't want them running rampage around my house. I leave them standing there and go to answer the door. I open it and see Brody standing on my doorstep holding a teddy bear that's holding a loveheart saying 'I'm sorry'.

"What's this for?" I ask him.

"Being a horrible person" He says. What did he do? Maybe he cheated on me, I really hope not we've only being going out for a couple of days.

"What?" I ask him confused.

"If it wasnt for me, Jase wouldn't have known your secret and wouldn't have been able to tell the whole school" He says to me. I take the teddy from him and place it on the table beside the door. I pull him into a hug and say,

"I don't blame you, Jase made his own decisions" I pull away from him, "but I am definately going to keep this teddy bear anyway" I smile at him and he laughs."Did you want to come in?" I ask him.

"no I have to go home" He says after thinking about it for a minute.

"OLIVIA HURRY UP" Scarlett and Hannah yell at me at the same time.

"OK see you tomorrow, I have to go entertain people" I say to him before shutting the door and walking over to where Scarlett and Hannah are standing. I'm surprised they listened to me and stayed where I told them to.

"Wow" They both say to me after I finish showing them around my house. I laugh at them, the whole time I was showing them around they were bubbling with excitement. I hear the front door open and frown. No one was coming over tonight apart from Scarlett and Hannah.

"I'm just gonna go and check who that is" I say to the girls while still frowning. I walk downstairs and see my mother hauling a suitcase through the front door.

"Why are you here I thought you were getting married?" I say to her angrily. Why does she have to keep coming back. Maybe she's already got married and she's coming here so I can meet the new man.

"I came back here to get married, because you made it clear you wouldnt come to me so I came to you" She says. As if, I'm not having anything to do with this wedding. I still can't believe that she would remarry after Dad died. It's been a while since he died but it still feels wrong.

"I want nothing to do with this wedding, it doesn't matter where it is" I say to her emphasizing the word nothing.

"At least me him before you decide" She says making me think she really does want me to like him. She probably wants us to be one big happy family. Yeah, thats not going to happen.

"no" I say and walk away back towards my friends.

"What was that about?" Hannah asks me once I reach them.

"Nothing" I say plastering a smile on my face. "Shouldn't you guys get going, your parents are probably starting to worry about you?" I ask them. Scarlett checks the time on her phone.

"OMG yes" She says grabbing Hannahs hand and dragging her towards the door.

"Guys, I drove you here, so unless your gonna walk.." I say trailing off. Scarlett doesn't say anything and just turns to walk to my garage as if that was where she was going all along. I grab my keys and head out after them. I hear my mother call out bye to me but I dont say anything and just walk to my car.

I stand in front of Brody's door staring at it. How did I end up here you wonder? My mother tried to convince me to meet her new guy again and kept trying to at least make me go to the wedding so I left and ended up standing in front of Brody's door staring at it. I take a deep breath diminishing the last of my anger and knock on the door. A women opens the door.

"How can help you" She says looking at me as if I'm below her.

"Is Brody home?" I say giving her the same look back. She stares at me for a while.

"No he's-" She starts.

"Mum, who is it?" Brody asks from up the stairs cutting her off. I smirk at his mother and yell into the house,

"It's Olivia" I hear footsteps and then see Brody emerge at the bottom of the stairs. He comes over and around his mum and pecks me on the lips. He takes my hand and turns to face his mum.

"Mum, this is Olivia, my girlfriend. Olivia this is my Mum, Crystal." He says introducing us. I nod at him.

"Well pleasure to meet you Crystal" I say even though it really wasn't. She nods at me frowning.

"My son and I are talking, so I'm going to have to ask you to leave"  She says to me acting polite but I see through the act and know that she just wants me to go away.

"Bye Brody" I say kissing him before taking my hand from his and walking back to my house. Damn I hope I dont have to deal with his Mum much she is a total biatch.
