Here is a fact that I know barely anyone knows about dogs (even most dog owners)
There is a way your dog can be fine with eating chocolate
I know because my dog has been eating chocolate all her life and she is 6 years old (she is a staffie)
Basically if your dog grows up on chocolate (as in they had it ever since they were born) it just becomes normal in their system and they can eat it all the time without ever throwing up or dying or having any negative affects to it.
We bought our dog at 3 weeks old and the old owner use to give the my dog chocolate (the past owner was abusive) in hopes that the dog would get poisoned but it didn't so in a rage the owner threw acid at the dog.
That's when it was clear that the abuse was happening just by looking the dog which is how me and my step mum bought my dog
