Quailstrike and Astralsong walked through the forest. Oceanfur was watching the kits so they could go for a walk. Astralsong has been unusually quite since Yuccakit's death and Quailstrike knew she was upset about it.
After an hour, Quailstrike and Astralsong started heading back. They were laughing and smiling. "Let's race each other back" Astralsong suggested before sprinting away, leaving Quailstrike no choice but to race.
Astralsong reached the camp and looked behind her. "Hurry up slug!" She teased before realising Quailsong wasn't there "Quailstrike?"
Astralsong ran back into the forest. She looked around "Quailstrike! Where are you, Mousebrain?" She suddenly spotted Quailstrikes lifeless body. There was a large cut on her neck. Astralsong froze, tears welling in her eyes.

"The murderer has struck again! Quailstrike was killed today. We have lost a valued warrior and deputy" Sunsetstar announced
