By the time Jennie apologize Mino knew what she meant making him nod in understanding. He somehow knew that this will happen. He tried to keep it going but it's just a foolish thing to do if your partner doesn't feel the same way.
You can't keep fighting for a love that is no longer shared by two individuals.
That time, Mino hugged Jennie and told her that whatever she feels just go and follow it. Mino doesn't want to be a part of so much more obstacle that Jennie needs to go through if she likes Lisa. Does Mino find it stupid that Jennie might like a robot? No, Mino feels like pursuing someone who doesn't feel anything for you anymore is also the same as pursuing a robot who are built and works with data to follow.
That day, they officially ended their relationship for the better. Mino is broken hearted but same as Jennie. Mino is not only her boyfriend but he is also her bestfriend which makes it hard for her. Mino told Jennie that he needs to step out for a couple of weeks just to give himself the chance to move on but he promised to be back once he's ready to be a friend to Jennie.
"Human.." Jennie heard from the other side of her door. Her eyes are swollen from crying but it's a normal thing when it comes to breaking up with someone "human, you need to eat. Oppa told me to give you some food cause he's worried" Lisa said not trying to annoy Jennie as best as she can. Jennie kept her eyes glued at the ceiling waiting if Lisa will say anything more "human breathe if I can come in " she said which made Jennie's brows furrow as she look at the door. That's an impossible thing to do. Lisa then open up the door and once she saw Jennie she smile at her and walks inside. Lisa will always be annoying but it's just hard to be always mad at her
"I didn't breathe tho" Jennie said in a raspy voice since she just woke up a couple of minutes ago and also because of all the crying
"Do you want to challenge me on a no breathing for an hour?" Lisa said making Jennie chuckle for the first time after the break up "get up human and eat all of these. Don't leave a single piece or else I'll-"
"You will what?"
"Bring the plate downstairs" she said smiling while leaving the tray on jennie's table. "Also" she pulled out her other hand which has an icepack
"What is that for?"
"Swollen cat eyes" she said making Jennie roll her eyes "swollen human eyes" she rephrased making Jennie chuckle once more. "Here hold this one on your eyes and I'll feed you" she said
"Am I a baby? I can do it myself" she said snatching the spoon away from Lisa's hand as she helped herself while she also has the icepack on her eyes
"You're not a baby.. you just look like one" Lisa said before walking out of the room and gladly she did cause Jennie's face heat up because of that. She do get a lot of 'you look like a baby' or 'you have a baby face' from a lot of people but she don't really expect that from Lisa.

at around noon Jennie feels a lot better and Rosie texted her if she wanted to hang out and eat lunch together since Jisoo's currently busy playing ps5 with her friends. Jennie then told Jiyong about it before she run upstairs to take a shower. While taking a shower someone pushed the doorbell so Lisa run towards the door to look if she knows the visitor since Dara and Jiyong's busy watching a show.
Lisa pushed a button to show the people outside the door. Her eyes widened and turn to look at Jiyong
"Oppa, there are police outside" she said making Jiyong stand up as fast as possible. Dara on the other hand run towards Lisa to grab her
"Take her upstairs to Jennie "he said clearly nervous. Dara run upstairs dragging Lisa along with her. When they made it to Jennie's room Dara knocked abruptly on her bathroom's door
"Jennie open up!" She said nervously
"Unnie I'm taking a shower" she said but Dara kept knocking on her door
"Jennie there are police outside!" She said as low as possible but she cant help but to get really nervous. Robots like Lisa are clearly illegal when it comes to the government. They don't really put it publicly that it is illegal but there are two things that they can do towards a robot like Lisa. It's either they'll crash her down or they'll take her put her on auction for more money.
Jennie soon open up her door but told Lisa to close her eyes which the robot immediately do. She then pulled her inside the bathroom while Dara walk towards Jiyong and her room to pretend like she's casually doing some paper works.
"Don't you dare open your eyes scraps" she said almost in a whisper as she kept the water running so no one will hear them outside "and stay farther so the water won't get into you" she said while looking at Lisa who still has her eyes closed.
Jiyong on the other hand open up the door and greeted the police nicely "what brings you here?" He asks nicely not tryna sound rude or suspicious
"We receive a report from one of our police that's been around. And some young people are way too suspicious and we decide to check around" one officer said not going straight to the point on why they are inspecting
"Kids can be really rebel nowadays but as far as i know.. my little sisters are on their best behavior" he said as they let them roam around. They reached the door to his office and look towards Jiyong for approval so he just nodded. They walk in and saw a couple of steel around and good thing everything that is Lisa's are all hidden.
"What are those steels for?" One asked
"I create miniature of those house I'm working with" he said casually like he is stating a normal thing. The police nodded and walk out of the room
"Do you mind?" They asked pointing upstairs. Jiyong shakes his head to let them go upstairs while he's trying so hard to keep calm. They walk inside Jisoo's room first and it's all cleaned up since Jisoo's out with her friends. They walk inside another room where Dara's busy working "oh sorry for disturbing" he said which Dara just smile and shake her head
"What's the sudden visit officer?" She ask like she didnt know they're here
"Just a random suspection" Dara nodded and pretended to go back to her work. They entered Lisa's room and one of the police who knows the family turn to look at Jiyong
"Who stays her?"
"My friend's sister, she moved from america so she needed a place to stay. She's currently out with my girlfriend's sister" he said naturally. Lastly they entered Jennie's room and heard the water running from the bathroom
"My sister's taking shower cause she'll go out with friends for lunch" Jiyong explains
"Is she?" One police said unsure if he's saying the truth. They knock on the door and as much as it is rude to do that they wanted to make sure either way
"Jennie, some police are here" Jiyong shouted to let Jennie know. And to keep them from suspecting Jennie peeked out hiding her body behind the door
"No it's okay, please go back" the officer said since it made them feel a bit unease "Mr. Kwon, thank you for letting us check" they said making Jiyong sigh in relief
