What do I want from you?

I won't say it outright—

That's half of the fun, after all,

Being kept in the dark to reach blindly for answers without form.

I'll tell you in riddles, with

Words so elaborate and sentences so complex

You won't have any idea that all you hear is

Fanciful nothingness.

I can vaguely sense you aren't comfortable with the subject,

But I don't know that I'm only making the situation harder for you.

You're stuck between a heart and a hard place

And any choice you make will end in someone else's tears.

What should you do?

Oh, I don't know.

I won't offer any plausible solutions,

I'll just shoot down the ones you conjure.

I hope it all works out for the best.

Preferably in my interests.
