Chapter song: As Long As You Love Me by Justin Bieber
(Becca's pov)
-3pm-
"Becca, do you want a sandwich?"
A female voice asked, and the doorknob jiggled. I jerked awake so did Justin.
"Uhm, no thank you"
I rubbed my eyes.
"Are you ok?"
My mom asked. Oh shit.
"Yea, I just took a nap"
I nudged Justin.
"Oh ok"
My moms footsteps faded out, then we fell back on the pillows.
"We should get dressed"
I suggested.
"Yea"
Justin handed me any nearby clothes of mine, and I handed him his shirt and underwear. Once we got dressed, we laid back down. It was still pouring outside, so we couldn't really do anything.
"...What am I thinking of?"
Justin broke the silence.
"Give me a hint"
I smiled.
"It's an instrument"
He gave me a clue.
"Do you play it?"
I asked.
"Yep"
He looked at the ceiling.
"Piano?"
I guessed.
"Yes, but it's not the one I'm thinking of"
He smiled.
"Oh....guitar"
I looked at him for an answer.
"Yea. Ok, your turn"
Justin grinned at me.
"Uhm...I'm thinking of a food"
I looked up in thought.
"Give me clues, bae"
He smiled.
"Ok, you like to eat it"
I gave him a hint.
"Pizza"
He guessed.
"No"
I shook my head.
"Spaghetti?"
He guessed again.
"Yea"
I smiled at him then started messing with his hair.
"Aw, your hair is so perfect. No fair"
I ruffled it up.
"Why "no fair"?"
Justin smiled at me.
"Because you don't even try, and it looks perfect. I have to straighten mine and everything"
I complained.
"It's harder than you think, baby"
He removed my hands from his hair to kiss them.
"Yea, you blow dry it and flip it all the time"
I giggled.
"You mean like this?"
He flipped his hair.
"No, more like this"
I flipped my hair too. Justin chuckled and shook his head.
"You also walk into glass doors"
I giggled at the time we were at the mall, and Justin walked straight into a glass door. It was so funny. I almost died laughing.
"I didn't see it. I swear"
He grinned widely.
"Yea, because you were too busy looking at me"
I remembered.
"No, I was admiring you"
He mumbled.
"Same thing. And you also talk to animals, like their gonna respond back"
I giggled again. We were at the park one time, and Justin started randomly talking to a swan.
"I was joking around, babe"
He was smiling cutely at the edge of my bed while I giggled at the opposite end. I started laughing, mostly at the thought of Justin walking into a glass door.
"Ok, I get it, babe"
Justin chuckled then dropped a pillow on my head. I laughed in the pillow. After I calmed down, I crawled into Justin's lap.
"You done?"
He smiled.
"Yea"
I giggled.
"You're so cute"
He kissed my cheek.
"No, you are"
I denied it.
"I can prove it to you"
He wriggled his fingers by my stomach.
"No-no"
I pushed his hands away.
"Hey, wait..."
Justin leaned close to my neck.
"What?"
I smiled at the feeling of his breath against my neck.
"...Shit, I'm sorry"
He looked half sorry and half upset.
"What?"
I repeated myself.
"Look"
He motioned to the mirror. When I looked in the mirror, I saw a hickey on my neck. Oh crap.
"It's fine"
I smiled.
"If you say so"
He shrugged.
"Sing to me"
I sat on his lap.
"Alright, hold up"
He cleared his throat.
"...It's a big big world. It's easy to get lost in it. You've always been my girl, oh. And I'm not ready to call it quits.
We can make the sun shine in the moon light. We can make the grey clouds turn to blue skies. I know it's hard. Baby, believe me.
That we can't go nowhere but up
From here, my dear. Baby, we can't go nowhere but up. Tell me what we've got to fear. We'll take it to the sky past the moon to the galaxy. As long as you're with me, baby. Honestly (honestly) with the strength of our love. We can't go nowhere but up..."
Justin sang quietly.
"...That's all I know"
He kissed my temple.
"It's perfect"
I hugged him close, and he hugged back.
"I need to go, shawty. Just for a few hours, because my mom wants me home"
He broke the hug.
"Ugh, ok"
I rolled my eyes.
"I'll be back soon, babygirl"
He kissed me before walking out into the rain. I sighed and collapsed on my bed.
-1 hour later-
Justin's not back yet, but I guess it's ok, because he's gonna be back sometime today.
"Becca, dinners ready"
Mom called.
"Ugh"
I walked out of my room and downstairs into the kitchen. It was quiet at the table. Dad wasn't in the room.
"Becca, I know you're mad, but that was months ago"
Mom sounded serious.
"And?"
I glared at her.
"And I think you should get ov-"
"What the hell?!"
I heard my dad roar from upstairs. My heart dropped. Mom and I both stood up and rushed upstairs. Shit, dad was in my room.
"Becca, what the fuck is this?!"
My dad threw a chain and SnapBack at me. Those were Justin's. He must've left them here on accident. oh crap.
"Dad-"
"I told you not to go near that son of a bitch, and this is what I find?!!"
My dad stepped closer.
"Honey, calm down"
Mom told him. My dad grabbed me by the shoulder and pulled me to him harshly. His eyes narrowed at my neck. Oh fuck no.
"What the hell? That's it, I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind!"
He pushed me hard, making me hit the wall. I didn't care.
"Dad, no stop!!"
I ran after him. He was storming out the front door.
"Sweetie, don't. You're gonna get hurt"
My mom held my arm.
"No! Stop, dad!"
I broke free and sprinted out of the house. By the time I got to Justin's house, the door was wide open. Oh no. I ran into his house and heard loud ruckus and screaming. I ran up to Justin's room to see my dad tackling Justin and hitting him along with calling him bad names. Pattie was trying to stop him and screaming.
"Dad stop!!"
I tried to pull him off, but it was no use.
"Dad stop!! He didn't do anything!!"
I ducked underneath him, getting hit a few hard times as I pushed Justin out of his aim. My dad tried to get to Justin again, but Pattie and I surrounded him.
"Justin, Omigod, I'm so so sorry"
I realized Justin didn't have as many bruises on his face as I thought. The bruises were mostly on his arms from blocking my dad's punches.
"Don't be, shawty"
Justin sat up against the wall, breathing sharply.
"He found your chains and SnapBack in my room and saw this"
I motioned to my neck.
"Fuck"
He fixed his hair.
"Are you ok?"
I gently brushed my fingers over the 3 bruises he had on his face.
"Yea, it's not that bad, baby"
He said. I hugged him tightly until my dad ripped me away from him.
"Don't ever go near her again!"
My dad hissed at Justin then pulled me out.
"I'm locking your window tomorrow. You're grounded. Now go to your room"
My dad ordered sharply. I was angry yet so sad. I sat on my bed, thinking about how to fix this. I saw Justin's chains and SnapBack and grabbed them. I put both of them on and smiled at myself in the mirror.
"You look pretty good in that, shawty"
A familiar voice walked in the room.
"Justin, Omigod what are you doing here?"
I hugged him tightly.
"I guess I didn't learn my lesson"
He smirked.
"Is your mom upset?"
I asked him.
"Naw, she doesn't know"
Justin kissed me deeply.
"I'm so so sorry about my dad"
I leaned against his chest.
"It's ok. Just fucked up my arms"
He looked at his arms, which had several bruises on them.
"I'll help with that"
I started planting kisses on every bruise he had on his arms and face.
"Aw, I love you, babygirl"
He smiled warmly at me. We kissed deeper and held each other.
"And...I have bad news"
He sounded sad.
"What is it?"
I mumbled, scared of the response.
"I've got to go back to Atlanta again. For 2 weeks"
He muttered.
"No"
I sighed and pulled away from him.
"Becca-"
"No Justin, please don't leave again"
I begged as my voice cracked.
"I have to. I promise I'll see you once I get back"
He pulled me back to him.
"Are you sure it's 2 weeks?"
I mumbled in his shirt.
"I'm sure"
He rubbed my back.
"...Ok. Do you have to go now?"
I looked at him sadly.
"I'm afraid so"
He sighed as well. I kissed him deeply, holding him tight, like it was the last time I'll see him.
"See you later, shawty"
Justin pecked my temple.
"Ok"
I nodded.
"Keep the hat and chains. It's not like your dad is gonna fly all the way to Atlanta to get me"
Justin winked before turning around. There was a bang, and I realized he had walked into the glass door of my balcony.
"Don't you-"
Before Justin finished his sentence, I bursted into laughter.
"laugh it out, babe"
Justin chuckled before leaving my house.
"Becca, what's so funny?"
My mom entered the room.
"Nothing, just thought of something"
I giggled, and mom shut the door again. I repeated that scene over and over in my head, laughing not only because of Justin, but because we were still lasting even though my dad tried to break us apart.
