Now slumped on a sofa at the back of the room. The party had died down massively now.

A few drunken bodies were left, laid out on the floor, almost blacked out. A few people went round, checking cups and drinking the last bit out of left bottles on the side. The music now playing low in the background.

I had no clue where Jess had vanished to, or what ungodly hour it was now, but there was just me and Joe left standing now at the end of the night.

"Let's do another, for the journey home" he grins, holding the bag up with the last of the Charlie inside, and gets to racking up two small lines on the wooden coffee table in front of us where we'd been for the last hour, doing line after line.

At this point, I'm barely able to see clearly. I'd consumed just as much of this substance, as I had alcohol tonight. And for my first partying sesh, I felt I'd done myself proud. I was still standing, when most others weren't.

The rolled note was passed across to me first, but charging feet in the distance, heading straight this way, catches my attention and stops me from moving.

I slowly bring my focus up, squinting through my eyes... before they shoot open in shock as the figure gets closer in quick speed. Immediately I'm up, alert, smiling as I stand up suddenly. Albeit, losing my balance instantly, but I'm up.

Was my mind playing tricks on me right now? Had I finally given in, passed out and was now dreaming that my best friend was here suddenly, unexpectedly, and heading straight this way, for me, a mixture of worry and annoyance clear over his face?

I continue to scowl in confusion, too scared to look away and break off my daydream and lose the sight of him.

"We're leaving!" His voice demands, now stood directly in front of me. Confusing me further. What was going on right now? Was this even real right now?

Clearly finding myself hilarious in this state, I look down at my feet, playing along, adding dramatic affect. "But I'm not moving" I laugh, producing an angry Matthew before me now. Hitting me that this was in fact happening right now, he was actually here.... shit!

"Wanna bet!" He calls across before his body bobs down, and within a second, I'm thrown over his right shoulder, leaving me screaming and demanding to be put down. Mortified he'd just embarrassed me in front of my new friends.

What the hell was he doing here? How did he even find me? And what does he think he's doing right now, man handling me in front of everyone?!

The cold air hits me the second we're through the front door and in the garden. And being up in the air, face down, while I bounce against Matty's shoulder now, is doing no good for my intoxicated state.

"Matthew, put me down!" I scream, realising people are now watching us with amused expressions.

"Can't do it" he taunts back playfully, clearly now enjoying this.

"Matthew, Timothy Hea-"

"Alright" he cuts in, eventually dropping me down as we get to a car, with the rest of the guys inside, all looking this way, more amused than anyone.

Ross's head pops out from the drivers side window "been a little rebel, have we?" He grins. Clearly enjoying the scene, it wasn't often they'd seen me like this. I barely ever drank.

Ignoring his words, I make a rash decision and quickly turn on my heels, attempting to bolt back inside, to get away from them and their lecturing words I was sure were to come. But Matty's a hell of a lot faster than I am, and as I stumble on the gravel, I'm quickly picked back up by Matty, my back pressed up against his front.

"You can't beat me, so stop struggling" he chuckles as I thrash. "You haven't been able to beat me since year six" he taunts, clearly now enjoying winding me up.

"Oh really?" I spit, beginning to feel more angered, the more he tries controlling me here. Acting like some big, older brother, humiliating me now.

"Really, really" he whispers against my cheek. Taunting me more.

"Drop me down right now then" I demand, kicking my legs in the air in attempt to free myself from his grip. "I'd kick your arse all over this garden, and back again"

The car erupts into laughter, even Matty's chuckling in my ear behind me from my sentence.

"In fact, I'll take the lot of you on-"

"Right, get her in the van. She's drank so much, she's talking pure shit" George says through an amused giggle.

Ad and Ross now dart out of the door and all take hold of me, throwing me onto the backseat.

"This is kidnap!" I scream. Genuinely angered by all of them acting this way. And my anger only grows as they all now climb into the seats beside me, grinning at me.

"You're so dramatic" Ad scoffs, throwing the seatbelt over me and fastening it. "We're saving your ass, you don't know these people" he states. Obviously nothing but basic common sense was going to leave Adam Hanns mouth... one of the reasons I adored this boy if truth be told.

I take in a sturdy breath, aware Adams words were starting to calm me down. But not for too long, when I spot a body quickly heading for us.

"Oi!" A voice yells from the distance, coming from the house... it's joe. Heading right this way. "Let her go!"

Matty turns swiftly, watching him charging this way. "I suggest you get back inside" Matty warns him.

But Matty's words don't exactly have the threatening effect he'd hoped, as the second Joe's in front of him, he's towering over Matty, and grinning down at him, in such a belittling way, before he adds "who said that?" Smirking.

But before either of them can do or say anything else, the sound of two car doors opening and slamming shut, sounds around us, and G and Ross are quickly out of the van at fast speed.

"We did. Now fuck off!" George spits. Both his and Ross's bodies soar over his the second they stand behind Matty as back up. Leaving Joe no choice but to back up and leave the situation.
