Chapter 2: Why?

Your POV

I open my eyes and rub them. I looked around in realization this wasn't my room. I then had a mental panic and got up and started walking in circles. I tried remembering what happened, but I couldn't recall anything. The door then opened to reveal the tall blonde boy.
"Oh, your awake good. Now I don't have to worry about contacting your parents"
He said as he sat down the side of the bed to give you a glass of water.
".... What happened"
I asked as I took the glass of water out of his hand and sipped some.
"I should be asking you that question, I was asking you if you were alright when you suddenly passed out and I decided to bring you to my house because the nurse wasn't there and I didn't know where you live"
He said, as he sat down on his desk to read a book.
I then realized I was in a new set of clothes. I slightly turned a bit red.
"....W-who changed me?"
I asked in embarrassment, I never quite liked the way I looked with my body style. I thought sometimes I was too fat or too skinny.
"..... I did. Don't worry I didn't do anything"
He said, slightly turning pink as well. I got flustered and covered my face with his blanket. Why. Why. I thought why did all these things happen.
" Tsukishima Kei"
He suddenly said randomly as I looked at him confused.
"Pardon" I asked when he suddenly said something.
"My name is Tsukishima Kei" he said. I couldn't but help have a tiny smile at his suddenly soft side.
"Tsukishima, where is my uniform"
I asked, wanting to change so I could cause this man less trouble.
"They just finished drying, let me get them for you"
He said and I nodded in response. I then suddenly realized how much taller he was than me. I probably looked like a little kid compared to Tsukishima, but I was short in general.
I got up to look at his room he had lots of dinosaur figures. He must really love dinosaurs I thought, then I saw a picture of him when he was little. I grabbed the frame and couldn't help but admire how cute he looked. I giggled silently to myself. The door then opened and I put the frame back.
"Here your uniform"
He said while handing them to me.
"Thank you... for everything"
I said with a gentle smile.
"Also where is your bathroom?"
I asked trying not to be anymore of a bother.
"Down the hall to your right"
He said, and sighed after I'm assuming from frustration of school as he looked down the paper. I quickly exited the room and went to the bathroom. As I was changing I realized that all my bruises and scars were all bandaged up. I felt more guilty for staying and he didn't have to do it, I sighed and I tried thinking of ways I can repay him. As I finished getting ready I walked back to his room to get my stuff and head home. I walked into the room and grabbed my backpack.
"I'm gonna leave now, Tsukishima"
I said trying not to disturb his concentration.
"Oh, okay bye shorty"
He said with a teasing voice as I kinda pouted my lip.
"I'm not short!"
I said slightly raising my voice in annoyance as he made that statement.
"Yeah too. And your kinda heavy for your height"
He said teasingly and grabbed his jacket. I pouted once again.
"Wait, where are you going Flag Pole"
I asked questioning why did he put his jacket on. I as well giggled at my new nickname for him.
"To walk you home small fry"
He said slightly giggling under his breath as he made that comment.
"I don't need-"

Before I could protest, Tsukishima cut me off.

"No protesting small fry, plus it's dangerous for a shorty like you to walk home alone"
He said in a half monotone and half teasing voice. He carried me down the stairs as I stayed still so we wouldn't fall. Once we got to the ground I started hitting his back and kicking my legs.
"I can walk myself! You can escort me, but I would like to walk"
I said in a demanding tone. He put me down with a disappointing sigh. We got to know one another as he walked me home.
"We're here...."
I said looking at my house with a frightening look in my eyes. Tsukishima noticed and he looked kinda concerned. I stood frozen which was what caused Tsukishima to assume somethings wrong.
"Hey are you okay, shorty?"
He said in a concerned tone. I nodded and walked to the front. I waved goodbye and took a deep breath before entering. As I stepped inside I saw my mom waiting for me.
"WHAT WERE YOU DOING OUT SO LATE!?"
She yelled and she was infuriated at me.
"Mom -"
Before I could finish my sentence my mom slapped me and she pulled my hair and dragged me upstairs to my room and locked me in there.
"YOUR STAYING THERE UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING!"
She yelled and she slammed the door.
