Chapter 9: Catching Feelings?

Tsukishima POV

I blushed as she laid her small head in the crook of my neck. The moment felt like a fantasy. The sky was nice, not too sunny, and not too cloudy. Her silky black hair was tied in two Dutch braids, it made her facial features stand out. Her eyelashes curled up and they weren't two long. She had nice rosy strawberry cheeks. I then realized she had freckles, they were very light , so they were hard to notice. I quickly shake my head out of the fantasy I put myself in. I couldn't let myself fall for her, or anyone.... again. She then snuggled herself closer and I felt her shiver a bit. I saw a bench and placed her next to me as I sat down next to her. She was still asleep, but also slightly awake. I bend over to my gym bag and rummage through my stuff. I then feel a heavy weight in the left side of my body. I look to see she had fallen asleep again. I chuckle at her adorable ness, but quickly shook it off. I found my favorite hoodie in my gym bag. I grabbed it and carefully bent back into place with my back on the back of the bench. She then also shifted, but didn't fall out of her slumber. I then put my hoodie on her. She groaned as she wanted to still be in her peaceful state of sleep, but I managed to get the hoodie on,  which was perfect timing because the wind started picking up. I made sure to put the hood on her. I then picked her up again and brought her on my back. Not too long after I saw the convenient store. I looked over my shoulder and saw she was still asleep, and I couldn't bring myself to wake her up. I sighed and I thought "Man I guess I'm gonna have to be the one who has to pay", I didn't mind though because it was more worth it than waking her up. I enter the store and grabbed a basket. I grabbed some instant ramen packets with a couple sodas. I then remember she drank a lot of strawberry milk, so I grabbed to packs of strawberry milk which each had 6 cartons, so in total 12 cartons. I grabbed a couple of chips and some ice cream. I grabbed strawberry and chocolate ice cream, with some candies. I then went to the check-out.
"Mhm, are you sure you two aren't dating?"
The cashier said while scanning our stuff, I slightly turned pink and her sudden comment.
"I'm sure."
I said while trying not to make it obvious I lied, she then looked at me with squinting eyes.
"Well then, just one piece of advise.
Be truthful to your feelings, because they don't just hurt you, but others as well"
As the lady finished her statement while putting our stuff in the bag. I thought "They don't just hurt you, but others as well?". I was some what confused, but I managed to bow as a thank you and continue with my walk.  My arms started hurting since I've been carrying Iko the whole day for 1-2 hours. It was fine though. I didn't mind, I suppose I cared too much for myself to mind. I decided to walk to my place since there isn't anybody there. I then hear Iko yawn and she started stretching her back.
"Careful! Baka!"
I said while trying to keep my balance like a weighing scale.
"Huh? [Yawn] Where am I?"
She said while going back to her comfortable sleeping position.
"We're heading to my place"
I said while adjusting my body. "What!? Did you go to the convenience store without waking me up!?"
She said slightly raising her voice. I felt as if I was being scolded. I nodded . She looked even more enraged, but a couple seconds later she lowered her head and I could see from the corner of my eye she looked sad.
"Why didn't you wake me up?"
She with a new tone in her voice, much softer and gentle. I didn't have a good reason so I just shrugged.
"Your really confusing sometimes you know"
She said while signaling me to put her down. I put her down gently on the ground as she grabbed her gym bag from my shoulder. She then looked down and realized she was wearing a hoodie that didn't belong to her.
"Is this your hoodie?"
She asked as she looked down at the fabric of the hoodie. I nodded my head trying to keep my communication minimum. "Why?"
She asked as she looked up at my eyes. From this view I was able to admire her brown-ish dark emerald green eyes. They were truly beautiful. I then shake my head to stop my imagination. "Well, you were cold and I had a spare hoodie in my gym bag so, I let you have mine"
I responded while seeing my house at the distance so I grabbed my keys and looked for the correct one. She then stepped in front of me and gave me a hug. "Thank you.... Tsuki~"
She said while letting go of the hug. We then reach my house. I unlocked the door and moved out the way to make room for Iko to walk in. She stepped inside and took off her shoes. I then take off my shoes as well. I place the stuff down in the counter and grabbed a change of clothes for me and Iko since I knew she would be uncomfortable. I then come back downstairs to see Iko already drinking the strawberry milk I bought her and ice cream. I chuckled at the adorable sight. She then had ice cream on her cheek and nose so I wiped it off. She than gave me and innocent smile and continued to consume her delectable treats. I hand her the clothes and she looked confused.
"You must be uncomfortable in this clothes, so change into these. Sorry I don't have anything else" I said while looking everywhere, but her. I had red tint on my cheeks and she even noticed and giggled as she nodded her head. I gave her a simple white t-shirt I have with the smallest pair of shorts I own even though they'd still be too big for her. I then put all the snacks in bowls and put them in the living room. I grabbed 1 large blanket and two pillows. Iko stepped out and sat next to me on the couch. She looked really attractive in my clothes. The shirt stopped in the middle of her thigh, I wonder why she didn't put the gym shorts on, they must've been too big still. She then grabbed the hoodie I lent her . "Hey Tsuki~ Can I still wear your hoodie? It's really comfortable"
She said while looking at me with puppy eyes m. I sighed and nodded. She then put on the hoodie and put the hood on. I chuckled on how big the sleeves were on her. She then cuddled under the blanket. We picked a TV show on Netflix, The trials of Gabriel Fernandez. We were on the part where they were showing the kid's abuse markings. Iko then immediately dig her face into my chest and I saw her hand shaking. "C-Can you t-tell me when it's o-over" she said while stuttering in fear. I nodded my head. I saw her hands shaking and it made my heart ache as she trembled in fear. I then grabbed her hand by instinct and held it close. She looked up and blushed, but ended up just digging her face into my chest again.  I chuckle at her adorable action. A couple episodes later Iko and I were now cuddled against one another, but it didn't bother either of us because it's happened before. I was still holding her hand because, well I honestly don't know. She then placed the side of her head on my chest and closed her eyes. I picked her up and brought her to my room. I placed her in my bed and I was going to sleep on the floor. "Tsuki- please s-stay I'm scared" Iko said while sitting up and holding her knees up to her chest. I looked at her and walked up to her and got in the bed. I felt that I made her uncomfortable, but she wasn't. I was surprised how easily she got closer to me and just cuddled against me. I didn't mind because it was a nice moment. I kissed her forehead by "instinct". I was truly falling mad for this girl. She had her face facing my torso. I wrapped my hands around her and tangled my legs into hers. She had her hands placed on the side of her face as she slept on her side.
