This has been one of my favourite projects and I'm so happy with the outcome. I'm so glad I got to share it with you all

Edit : I got asked recently what the hardest part about writing this fanfic was. It's not coming up with plot or sticking to writing schedules or meeting word counts

The hardest thing for this story was coming up with characters. Because I wanted every character to be from the show, even if they were only mentioned for 2 seconds, and all of the adults are dead, it was really hard to come up with names
Especially since it was a sequel. The amount of times I went to mention Clyde, Bebe and Token before realising they were already dead was ridiculous
I originally had Jason as the one who had the lab and the cure at the end, realised I'd already killed him, and had to change it for his sister crystal

I also didn't want to include Damien because he could stop all of this with one click of his finger if he wanted to, so he was 100% not in the fic
So if you come across a name you don't recognise, I can tell you with absolute certainty that
A) that character was originally Clyde, Bebe, token or Red
B) I spent at least 10 minutes on the South Park wiki looking for a name
C) I changed the name around 4 times because I was unhappy with it

My favourite thing about writing this fic was exploring the dangers of people during the apocalypse rather than the zombies, which were more the focus in Love is Infectious
I think I can say that this story is my favourite so far and I'm so sad I had to end it. I would've written it until the day I died if people would've read that many chapters 😂
