Amara de Luca

We went over the plan for the hundredth time, he breaks my window and creates diversion I get out through the library window and hide in the trunk of his car. I stepped out of my room and he had to count till 10 so I could get into the library. I was sneaking in front of Alex's study when I heard a crash I made a mad dash for the library right before Alex barged out of his office and rushed into my room.

I checked for a second before I dropped onto the ledge below the window and onto the ground. I looked around and spotted a grey honda civic and jumped into the trunk. I lay there as my heart was threatening to burst out of my chest. After what felt like hours, Someone started the car and drove off I peaked to make sure it was Lucas.

I clambered into the passenger seat, "You idiot!" I hit his arm "You were supposed to count to 10 Mississippi"

"Mississippi?" he whined rubbing his arm.

"You counted Mississippi-lessly" I gasped.

We scream-singed Halsey before we reached, I smiled to myself before unbuckling my seat belt. its as I went back in time.

I walked up to the receptionist and asked her for the name of the person staying in suite number 8 it turns out there was no suite number 8.

What's with the goddamn riddles why couldn't she have written please come to the park at the end of your street. Ugh

Lucas and I decided to grab something to eat since he wouldn't stop bugging me and I needed to figure out what eight meant. It's 5 minutes to eight so I guess we'll have to wait.

After being guided to our tables and our waitress Nadia took our orders and left. We were both munching on the surprisingly good bread sticks.

I patted my pocket to retrieve my phone and it wasn't there. Great I must've left it in the library, could this get any more boring. I asked Lucas for the time and it was ten past eight.

Nothing

NADA

Zilch

What even am I doing here?

I blame binge watching crime shows and reading too many detective novels. I sighed and looked around people were very.... Classy?

Prim and proper not the usual McDonald's crowd I'm accustomed to. Lucas cleared his throat, I looked at him and raised a brow.

" I want to confess something and I don't know how you'll take it" he said not meeting my eyes.

" Lucas, you're the one person who's made me feel like my life will get better. I won't judge you no matter what it is but if it is because your gay don't worry. I already know" I said with a serious face.

"What? How? You.." he scrambled for words.

I just sat the smirking at him " I just have a radar" no I didn't, I saw him checking out Kevin a lot.

"And you're okay with it?" he asked me.

" It's your life Luca what does it matter that I'm okay with it?" I said laughing a little.

"Because you're my friend I care what you think" he said taking my hand in his.

Aww

"I have no pr-" I stopped and looked past him, the cute guy from school was here. He was with a bunch of people wearing suits. I almost called out to him but stopped when I realized I didn't know his name. I should really start asking people their names.

They sat down right behind us I could totally hear everything they spoke but it was another language. I told Lucas and he switched from his seat.

"Russian" he whispered.

We heard them speak for some more time, there was one person speaking in English like a translator.

"This is Sebastian Kilimovich and his son Romanov"

So that's his name!!
