11:45 PM: I'm sorry Ayd
11:46 PM: Seriously I didn't mean to hurt you
11:46 PM: I was just trying to help
11:49 PM: It's Harry btw. I don't know if you still have my number.
11:50 PM: I should have talked to you first.
11:51 PM: You deserve to have a say.
I roll over and grab my phone, turning the sound off and placing it face down on my nightstand.
11:54 PM: I know we haven't spoken lately
11:55 PM: It was great to catch up tonight. I wouldn't mind spending more time with you.
11:57 PM: Ayd, I'm sorry. I don't know what to say.
Against my better judgement I reach for my phone, scrolling the the messages from Harry.
I'm trying to sleep I respond.
H: I was beginning to think I had the wrong number.
A: Stop texting me
H: Only if you forgive me for being such a jerk.
A: Fine. You're forgiven. Let me sleep.
H: Let me make it up to you.
A: How?
H: Let me try again.
A: Try what again Harry? Its almost midnight and you're pissing me off.
H: Let me try and do things the right way.
H: Will you let me stay with you this week? I won't bother you, I promise. I'm basically your emergency taxi to the hospital and nothing else. You won't even know I'm there.
A:.....
A: why
H: Because I care about Niall. He's freaked. And I care about you.
My heart catches in my chest.
H: You've always been a part of the band family.
Not what I was hoping he'd say.
I lay my phone down to think. I have two options. Let him stay and spend the week while awkwardly avoiding interaction and trying to hide both my crush and my illness, or I could tell him off and risk never seeing him again.
A: Fine. But only because of Niall. I don't need a nanny.
H: Yes! Thank you Ay.
A: Now shut up so I can go to sleep.
H: Yes ma'am. Goodnight.
I shut my phone off and pull the covers over my head with a groan.
