Screams from a room can be heard as a young girl gives birth. She was taken from her school and brought here. Why, cause she is pregnant and the master wishes for a born slave. Held down, the girl can only lift her head as she pushes. The father will never see their child, she don't even know what it's is. Toes curling in pain, she screams once more and collapses on the bed. Cries are heard as the doctor lifts the infant up. "Its a boy, master." He says.
The boy doesn't quite, the master takes a knife, cutting slits under his eyes. As tears fall into them, the boy cries harder and harder till he stops, the salt in the tears burning. He learnt if he stops crying, the tears stop and the pain stops. The master leaghs "Fast learner he is. He'll make the perfect slave. Take her away." The master leaves, taking the baby with hem as the new mother cries out, begging for her son.
The master goes to a room, placing the baby on the cold floor with a blanket under hem. The baby boy squirms, wanting warmth but will never feel it. "I'll call you Kai. Your hair is as red as fire."
