Gerard's P.O.V

I stood in the kitchen waiting for the kettle to blow. I stared out the window. Not really seeing the view. What the fuck did I just do? Did I really just tell Kat I love her? Fuck. Too soon. She doesn't love me back. Of course she doesn't. It's way too soon. I'm such a idiot.

"Do you really love me?" I spin round to see Kat leaning against the door frame, staring at me. "Or did you just say it in the heat of the moment?"

I frown at her. "Of course I love you." I mutter back. "I didn't say it in the heat of the moment. I really do love you."

"You know you should have waited in there." She said, walking towards me. "You bolted so fast, I thought you regretted saying it."

I shook my head as she stopped infront of me. "Of course I don't regret it."

She puts her hands on my chest. "Ya know something?" She asked, looking into my eyes.

I put my hands on her hips and look down at her. "What?"

She leans up and lays a kiss on my lips. "I love you, too, Gerard Way."

I groan then pull her into a kiss. Before I can deepen it, she pulls away. I look at her in surprise.

She smiles. "Let's not rush this." She says. "We should go on a date first. Somewhere fun." She smiles as I pout at her. "Your adorable when you pout." She laughs.

"Just when I pout?" I ask, fluttering my eye lashes.

She laughs again. "Don't do that. It makes me feel like the police are gonna whisk me off for being with a minor."

I grin. "They could only do that if we'd slept together." I raise my eyebrows suggestively.

She grins back. "Are you making a pass at me, Mr Way?"

"Depends." I say as I pull her towards me. "Is it working?"

She laughs as I grind into her. "It is for you, sweetheart. " She reaches down to cup my arousal. I groan.

"But not for you, baby?." I choke out.

She removes her hand and heads for the kitchen door. She goes out the door then pops her head round it to smile at me. "I'm going up for a shower. If you want to join me?" Then she's gone again. I waste no time as I practically run out after her.
