You and Jihoon have been dating for a while now. Your relationship wasn't official for anyone to know except for your friends. Jihoon lately started to think about introducing you as his girlfriend to his parents. You were nervous about that but he said that everything is going to be fine
[7:25 pm] "Do I look okay?" You asked Jihoon while fixing your shirt
"Baby, you look perfect, don't be that nervous" He chuckled and hugged you from behind. Jihoon kissed your cheek and put his head on your shoulder
"Should we go already?" He asked and you nodded. After taking your things you both left

You got out of his car and Jihoon took your hand. He looked at you with his encouraging smile and you both walked to his parents house
He rang the bell and waited for someone to answer. After few seconds his mom opened the door
"My son!" She said with big smile on her face. She hugged him and pecked his cheek
"Mom, meet my girlfriend Y/N" He said and his mom looked at you unhappy
"She's your girlfriend?" She asked and Jihoon got nervous
"Yes, the one I talked about" He said and hoped that smile will brighten her face
"Hi Y/N" She said and you politely bowed while greeting her. You all walked in his dining room and she asked Jihoon to help her in kitchen
"I will be back soon" He smiled and kissed your cheek before leaving
Jihoon walked to his mom in kitchen and saw her leaning against the counter
"What is this? Is this some joke? Are you kidding?" She said and his eyes got wide
"Mom shhh, stop it. What's wrong with you?" He asked and she harshly put the towel on the table
"You're dating a white girl?! Are you serious?! What will your father and grandma will say?!" She said and he rolled his eyes feeling tired of living in past century
"Mom, I can date whoever I want. It doesn't matter from where she is, I love Y/N and she is the best thing I got in life" He said and she turned around while putting food in plates

"Stop it, or I will leave. And I'm serious mom. I won't let anyone to talk bad about her even you." He said and she looked at him
The whole evening the mood what awkward. You all didn't talk a lot and just ate. After eating his mom had few questions to your or him and wasn't rude but you knew that she didn't like you. You felt sad but acted like everything is perfect.
After eating dinner you with Jihoon left. You saw that Jihoon was pretty down and you put your hand on his
"Baby, tell me what happened?" You asked and he just looked at one spot
"Nothing, nothing...let's just go home, shall we?" He smiled and started the engine
"Jihoon...I heard everything you talked with your mom. But I swear I'm not angry" You said and put your hand on your heart
"...I just can't understand how my mom could act like that. I swear I never knew that side of her" He said and you put your hand on his shoulder
"I understand everything, don't be angry at her" You said and he looked at you
"I'm so sorry, you shouldn't have heard her. How can't she understand that it's 21st century and anyone can date whoever they want and the culture differences or skin color shouldn't be a problem" He said feeling unhappy with his mom and you tried to calm him down
"I'm sure that in the future she will understand that. Maybe she just needs some time" You calmly said making him to smile
"Why are you so perfect? I love you" He said and pecked your cheek. You smiled too and whispered I love you
