You were wife of freshly new CEO, who in a very short period of time became one of the most powerful CEO in whole South Korea. Kim Mingyu. People usually knew you as his wife and mother of his daughter Jia.
Coming into his rich family, you had a really hard time. Constantly you had to prove and show your respect to his parents that you're good enough to their son and know how to be a good wife. But you knew how to protect yourself and never showed that you're scared which made them to raise their respect towards you too.
One morning you woke up by sound of Mingyu's phone
"Honey, someone's calling you" You said shaking him lightly. Mingyu groaned and woke up, he answered the call and few seconds later he sat up with his eyes wide open. You got curious of what happened and looked at your husband. After the call ended, he put the phone down and brushed his hair back
"What happened?" You asked sitting closer to him
"My father was found dead this morning" He said looking down and you gasped. You hugged Mingyu and he hugged you tighter burrying his face in your neck

While Mingyu was dressing up to meet rest of his family members, you dressed up your daughter and told your maid to take care of her while you with Mingyu will be out. After you both said bye to your daughter, you sat in the car and left.

You arrived at his parents house and everyone were already in the living room. All family members said their sympathy to Mingyu and the police started to talk. You were listening to what happened this night and they said that he was probably killed by someone
"Do you have anyone in mind, who could have done that?" The officer said and you all thought but couldn't think about anyone
"I have" You looked at Dohyeon who was a daughter of Mingyu father's friend
"And who is that person you have in mind?" The officer asked her and she looked at you
"Mrs. Kim Y/N" She said and everyone's eyes were on you while your jaw dropped
"Who? Me?" You asked and she while looking at the officer said
"Y/N was never on good terms with Mr. Kim, that's why in my opinion this is her job" She said and you chuckled
"Wow unbelievable...me and Mr. Kim just signed a contract together, the one you wanted. I'm a new vice-president of his company. So you think I killed him because I wanted to be a real CEO or why?" You said and she just looked away.
"I have a person in mind. It's you, Mrs. Park Dohyeon" You said and she started glaring at you

The meeting ended and you went straight to the car. You saw Mingyu coming and he sat in
"Did you hear Dohyeon? She is ridiculous" You said and he took your hand
"Baby, I believe you, it's okay don't worry. We will solve everything and find the real culprit" Mingyu said and after kissing you, you both left

Next day Mingyu left to work and you were home alone with your daughter. You were making her snacks when you heard a doorbell. Your maid opened the door and there was 2 police officers
"Is Mrs. Kim Y/N home?" They asked and she told them to wait for a minute
"Mrs. Y/N, police is here" She said and you nodded. You gave her a plate with snacks for Jia and told her to be with her. You cleaned your hands and went to let in the detectives
You sat in the living room and they opened their papers. One of them started to ask you questions
"Where were you at December 6th night, to be more exact at the time between 6pm and 3 am?" He asked and you answered him
"I was at home. At 6 pm me and my family ate dinner. Later my husband went to work in his office while I was watching a movie with my daughter" You explained and he wrote something down
"What about night? Were you home or somewhere out?" He asked again
"At night I was sleeping in my house" You said with a calm face. He looked at you and nodded again
"During these past months...were you on good terms with Mr. Kim?" He asked and you said yes right away
"Yes, as you heard yesterday me and Mr. Kim signed papers together, he accepted me as his son's wife and his granddaughter's mother. I have never been in any kind of fight with Mr. Kim" You said and the detective mentioned Dohyeon
"What about Mrs. Park Dohyeon? As we can see you don't get along with her" He said and you inhaled
"Yes, she tried to break my family by wanting to make my husband cheat on me. She never liked me because as she says "I took her spot". Plus she wanted to work with Mr. Kim, but after hearing the news of what kind of woman she is, he didn't hesitate to kick her out of the company". After your words, both of the detective's eyes went wide open while you stayed calm
"So Mrs. Park Dohyeon doesn't work in your husband's company anymore?" He asked and you nodded
"Yes, since this June" You said and he wrote something down again
While talking, Mingyu got home. He walked in the living room and greeted the detectives. They got what they wanted and left. Mingyu hugged you and told you to say everything what they wanted from you
"I don't want to lose. I didn't do anything. That night I didn't leave my bed, only went to check on Jia because she had a hard time falling asleep" You said looking at your husband and he took your hands in his
"You won't lose, I'm sure that you won't be put in the list of the suspects. I know that it wasn't your job" He said and wiped the tear off your cheek. You hugged Mingyu and he kissed your neck, hugging you back.
