Right now you looked insane
"excuse me please move" you huffed out while you ran down the busy city streets. Your feet moved at a fast pace while you rushed through the crowd.
"please move" you begged the strangers as you rushed down the street. Your heart hammered in your chest when you began to see the light pink flower get further and further away. You reached your hand out, desperate for the flower to slow it's pace but suddenly you tripped.
You tumbled to the ground as you scrapped your hand and you groaned in pain. You panicked as your eyes looked up and the flower was gone.
You sat on the concrete in silence as people walked around you, some looking in confusion. However, since it was getting late the amount of people began to fade until you were alone sat on the ground.
Your heart sank while for some reason you felt so lost. So alone.
Tears fell down your face while you felt angry at yourself.
You knew you deserved this, you knew that you deserved this painful lonely feeling. You had told him he would never be alone, but in the end you had left him. You had left the person who you loved.
Tears fell down your face while you sobbed silently. You felt pathetic, you felt angry, you felt so so alone.
Your heart ached while thinking of him and you cried your heart out all alone on the cold street.
You froze when you heard a small bark. You quickly wiped your tears away and your blurry vision faded. Your eyes widened and you said the first thing that came to mind seeing the fluffy fur
"y-yeontan" the dog was looking at you while it sat in front of you. The dog looked very similar to the fluffy friend you had meet a long time ago. You smiled softly and laughed at your own thoughts. There were hundreds of dogs in the world who were the same breed, you knew it was ridiculous to think this dog was yeontan.
You reached out your hand to pet the dog but you noticed your bleeding hand. It seemed like when you fell you had scrapped it against the ground.
Your smile fell while you suddenly remembered something
"stop crying it's just a scratch. Stop being dramatic" you chuckled out.
A huge pout formed on his face while he looked at you "no way, it HURTS" he said while you chuckled again.
"well if you don't get up I'm leaving" you said while he pouted again. You then noticed that he was actually bleeding from his hand and your heart dropped.
You thought he was just joking around like usual.
You quickly rushed off knowing there was a convenience store just a few minutes away. You rushed into the store and grabbed a random band aid box and payed for it.
You then ran down the street and he seemed surprised to see you panting while you ripped open the band aid box and pulled one out. You placed it over his cut and he looked at you in disbelief
"why are you looking at me like that" you asked and he spoke
"I thought you had left"
You frowned as you sat on the ground beside him tired from your run.
"why would I leave you. I just went to get a band aid" you chuckled out and he looked at you with a large smile
"well, I'm glad you didn't leave. I don't know if I could live without you" he said while your heart began beating rapidly
"seriously, you are ridiculous. I'm not going anywhere and I won't leave you" you chuckled out while trying to ignore your rapidly beating heart
"I promise to never leave you too. You mean the world to me y/n. Besides I really need your ridiculous band aids" he chuckled out and you finally noticed the band aids you had bought had a hearts all over them
"oh are you giving me your heart, is this your way of confessing" he teased while your face went red
"n-no, shut up" you said while he laughed.
"thank you y/n" he said while you smiled
"it's not a big deal, it's just a band aid" you giggled while he gently grabbed your hand
"no, thank you for being here for me. Thank you for making me feel like I'm never alone, thank you for being my home and for making me feel like I can finally say the words 'I'm home' to someone. I promise I will do the same for you, I'll always be here when you need me, I'll be your home"
Your heart ached at the memory and your tears started once again. You cried softly while you mumbled out
"maybe I should have confessed how I felt" you said softly
Your heart shattered while the small dog in front of you whined. It seemed distressed by your tears.
You smiled softly while you spoke "don't feel bad for me little one. It's my fault after all, I was the one who left him all alone" you spoke out while you thought about him.
Even if you did leave him alone, even when you said you wouldn't. A selfish part of you wanted him to be here, a selfish part of you wanted him to keep his promise.
"I really wish he could keep his promise. Maybe if he was beside me I could tell him how I feel. How much I love him, but now I'm all alone" you said softly and you reached out and gently lifted the small dog
It really did look like yeontan
Then as you brought the small dog very close to your face to see the collar to find it's owner your heart stopped when the dog had placed it's front paw on your heard.
no way...
"I said I would never leave you alone and I meant it y/n" you froze and your heart jump started hammering in your chest seeing the person in front of you.
"after namjoon went through all that research and figured out that with these bracelets that we could stay here I've been searching for you everyday. Good job yeontan" and a large boxy smile formed on his face
"taehyung, it's you" you said softly
"I came back, the others are here as well but right now we should focus on your injury" he spoke while he took out a heart covered band aid from his pocket. He gently placed it on your cut and spoke
"this is a confession by the way. I'm giving you my heart because I love you y/n"
You smiled at his words, then he quickly leaned in and kissed you.
He pulled away and as yeontan barked happily while running around and you laughed.
"you can say the words now" he said and you smiled remembering his words
I'll always be here when you need me, I'll be your home
"I'm home" you smiled as a warm feeling flooded your heart
