Warning: profanity. talks about condoms.

If the storyline seems familiar, then it's because I got the idea from a friends episode. However, I prohibited myself from rewatching it so I could write it my own way.

Y/n sat lazily with her feet in the pool. She was currently trying to get a tan, while also listening to her fiancé's music.

Ty had just gotten home from touring, and he said he needed some time in the relaxing sun.

So, as Tyler did his normal routine of flips, Y/n admired him. He was so perfect. She didn't know how to explain it. His skin looked so smooth, and his hair looked as though someone painted it with the richest brown they could find.

And every time Tyler came up for air, and how he'd flip his hair back, flinging water all different ways. He was so perfect.

"Hey, how about instead of staring at me, you jump in?" Tyler asked, trudging his way through the water to lean his elbows on the wall beside y/n.

Y/n let a smile conquer her face and her cheeks flushed a tint of red. "How about instead, you get out and we can go hang out inside a little bit?"

Tyler's face twisted into a disinterested one. "I've been in there napping all day."

Y/n put on a face of disappointment. They had been outside for at least 2 hours. "I want to spend quality time with you."

"We are." Tyler laughed, quite confused.

"No, I mean, quality time. This isn't what I had in mind."

Tyler smiled, leaning his chin on y/n's knee. "We can do that tonight." He kissed her knee, before taking a bit of water and splashing it over her legs making her squeal.

"Ty!" She quickly moved her legs as the cold water teased the tan skin on her thighs.

"Alright, we can get out and go get ice cream, how about that?" Tyler asked, and Y/n nodded excitedly.

"So, tell me what's different." Tyler began, turning his frozen yogurt in his ice cream cup.

"What do you mean 'what's different'?"

"You know, there's something on your mind that you want to tell me. You're trying to get me in a situation where it's the right time. Here's your chance." Tyler explained. Y/n was quite shocked because he wasn't far off. In fact, he was spot on. She was trying to maybe bring it up slowly, or hint to him.

"Fine." Y/n took a deep breath. "What do you think of a baby?"

Tyler furrowed his eyebrows, a small snort escaping his nose as he looked up. "Really? Y/n, we have so much time until then. Let's focus on our marriage first." He took a bite of his ice cream, before continuing. "I mean, once we're married we'll have all of the time in the world to think of babies. However, it'll probably be way later in the future because of how busy I am."

Y/n gulped, before nodding. She shrugged. She was so scared to tell him. "Yeah, but what if we had one now?"

Tyler shook his head immediately. "No way, we aren't ready for that. I mean, like I said, we aren't even married yet."

Tears teased Y/n's eyes at how trapped she felt in the situation. She nodded. She suddenly lost her appetite for ice cream, which was odd for her since the pregnancy was making her crave it.
