My eyes trail my ceiling, the feeling of anxiousness teasing with my gut. It hurts. I don't like this feeling.

I glance over at the door, but still no y/n. Where could she be? I take a deep breath, shaking my head as I look up at the ceiling again. This dull plain ceiling has nothing interesting to offer, so instead I close my eyes and imagine the stars above me. That's what I do when I try to sleep. I imagine myself being outside, in nature. Luckily, that's not the case. If I was outside right now, I'd be eaten alive by mosquitoes.

My eyes open abruptly when I hear the front door open. I listen as the sound of high heels get closer. I hear a frustrated sigh, and then what sounded like a whimper. I don't think anything of it and instead call out, "Look who managed to show up tonight!"

I didn't hear an answer so I turned to look at the doorway of the bedroom. I saw her silhouette, slouched down defeatedly. I furrow my eyebrows as I reach for my lamp and switch it on. I'm shocked when I see her button up shirt is nearly ripped off of her, exposing her black lacy bra.

She isn't crying, although she looks as though she is in shock, and I take no time to get up from my spot. "What the fuck happened to you?" I ask breathlessly. I step closer, examining her shirt which was halfway down her shoulders.

She shrugs, her body tense. "M-my boss..." she let out a breath, "he uh... he tried- I- I ran away and..."

She stops speaking, and I reach down to grab the nearest blanket from our messy floor. "Here, cover yourself up. I'll get you water."

I begin to walk past her, but I feel her soft hand grab mine. "No, Ty. Please stay with me."

I nod immediately, wrapping my arms around her in a hug. She was still very tense. "Relax, love. Nothin' will happen to you. I promise." I kiss her shoulder lightly before burying my face into her hair.

I just felt like writing something in here and this is what I came up with. It's SUPER small.
