Warnings: profanity. Angst

I just realized that this is kind of like the Rose Colored Boy series by @Blurry-fics. Of course, I have my own way of writing and it honestly is nothing like it. But sort of. Lmao

Tyler flipped over to his side, squishing the left hand side of the bed's pillow close to his face. He inhaled deeply as the scent of y/n's perfume tickled his nose. He smiled, letting out his breath as he squeezed it closer.

He wondered what y/n was up to right now. Maybe she was asleep, leaving a scent onto yet another pillow. He frowned slightly. She could be sleeping soundly beside her boyfriend after a long night of love.

He cringed, pushing the pillow away from his reach and onto the floor. He was now slightly disturbed of his behavior towards the pillow. She was taken. It was shitty of him to be cuddling up to a pillow she used two nights ago. And all she did on the pillow was sleep. Nothing else occurred between them except the heartwarming giggles and soft goodnights. And that was because she was taken.

Tyler flung the covers off of his legs, the fan, which he leaves on for sleeping, nipping his legs with the cold breeze. He quickly shut off the fan, slipping his jeans on and heading down the stairs towards his kitchen.

As he approached the counter he heard the sound of a walkie talkie's static and then a small yet silly voice on the other end. He tracked the noise right beside the bag of cereal. That must've been where he left the walkie talkie last. "Come in, Godzilla, it's Twinkie. Clear."

Godzilla. The nickname handed to him by his best friend after Christmas one year, via walkie talkie. Twinkie was her nickname, although that wasn't the one he gave her. Y/n hated the nickname Tyler gave her so she picked it herself. Tyler walked over, snatching the walkie talkie, and an apple along with it. "I'm here, Sugar Booger. Clear."

"That isn't my nickname!" She shouted into the walkie talkie but soon hushed her own self at how loud she's being. "It's Twinkie." She emphasized. "Clear."

"Sounds like a sex toy." Tyler took a bite of the apple casually. "Clear." He said with a mouth full of sweet juiciness.

"It's a cake snack you idiot!" Y/n argued, but it was clear she had a smile on her face all by the way she talked. She paused for a moment, "oh! Clear."

Tyler hummed into the walkie talkie after taking a bite of his apple. "Want me to tell you what I got you for your birfday? Cler."

Y/n squealed into the old-fashioned-looking talking system. "Yes! Clear."

"No." Tyler answered shortly, a small smirk on his face as he took another huge bite from his apple. "Cler." He munched.

"Damn it. You did that joke last year too." Y/n paused, so Tyler pressed his talk button and munched his apple into the speaker.

"You here that? I got some more apples since you ate all of them at the sleepover." Tyler blamed, taking another bite. "Clear." Although it sounded more of like "Clare."

"Can you stop eating for one second in your life? You haven't even asked why I walkie talkie'd you yet. Clear."

Tyler tossed the apple into the trash successfully, before smiling in accomplishment. "You walkie talkie me every morning. Clear."

Y/n sighed, "yes, but I didn't tell you good morning which means I have something better to tell you. Clear."

"Mhmm. What is it?" Tyler acted impatiently as he listened closely to the walkie talkie. His index finger rested on the talk button, waiting until it was clear for him to speak. "Will you meet me ten o'clock at Chester park? Clear."
