"There's still so much left to see." Willy explains "Now, how many children are left?" Willy turns around

"Darling...Charlie is the only one left" You inform him

"You mean, you're the only one?" Willy asks, his eyes searching the room for any signs of extra children

"Yes." Charlie assures him

"What happened to the others?" Willys smile widens "Oh my dear boy, that means you've won"

Willy grasps Charlies hands and starts shaking it firmly

Oh, I do congratulate you. I really do. I'm absolutely delighted." Willy gushes "I had a hunch right from the beginning. Well done. Now, we mustn't dilly or dally. We have an enormous number of things to do before the day's out. But luckily for us, we have the great glass elevator to speed things-"

Willy removes his hand from Charlies grasp and turns around, practically running into the glass elevator.

"Speed things along..." Willy clutches his hat as he walks into the elevator.

"' Up and Out'? What kind of room is that?" Charlie's brows furrow

"Hold on" Willy replies, his arm casually moving to pull you in front of him

"Oh, my goodness." Grandpa Joe gasps

"We're gonna need to go much faster, otherwise we'll just never break through." Willy mutters to himself

"Break through what?" Charlie asks

"I've been longing to press that button for years." Willy explains "Well, here we go, Up and Out!"

"But do you really mean--?"

"Yeah I do!"

"But it's made of glass. It'll smash into a million pieces" Willy laughs in a high pitched tone

As the elevator breaks through a harsh kick to your abdomen is felt

Something really isn't right...

The lift skyrockets into the air and you look up at Willy seeing the daze smile spread across his features.

Suddenly your plummeting down until the lift stabilises, Grandpa Joe letting out a deep breath.

You look down and notice the doors to the factory opening.

The children and their parents leaving.

"Where do you live?" Willy asks

"Right over there. That little house." Charlie points to the falling apart house

The elevator looms over the little house before crashing through the roof.

A shriek and startled gasps are heard throughout the house.

"Hi, Mom." Charlie waves excitedly, rushing out of the elevator as soon as the lift doors open "Mom. Dad. We're back."

"Charlie." Both parents say in unison

"This is Willy Wonka and his wife Y/n they gave us a ride home." Charlie says

"I see that" Charlies mother looks up at the ceiling

"You must be the boy's-" Willy starts cringing at the word

"...Parents?" Charlies father finishes

"Yeah...That..." Willy replies

"He says Charlie's won something" Grandpa Joe speaks up

"Not just some something. The most "something" something of any something that's ever been." Willy starts rummaging through the cabinets "I'm gonna give this little boy my entire factory."

You stop admiring the little house, turning to look at your husband with a stone cold expression

He was doing what?

"You must be joking." Granda Joe exclaims

"No, really. It's true. Because you see, a few months ago, I was having my semiannual haircut" Willy starts retelling the story "--I must find a heir. And I did, Charlie. You."

"That's why you sent out the golden tickets." Charlie realises

"What are Oompa-Loompas?" Charlies father asks

"I invited five children to the factory and the one who was the least rotten would be the winner. That's you, Charlie." Willy explains "So, what do you say? Are you ready to leave all this behind and come live with me at the factory?"

"Sure. Of course. I mean, it's all right if my family come too?" Charlie asks

"Oh, my dear boy, of course they can't. You can't run a chocolate factory with a family hanging over you like an old, dead goose. No offence" Willy says to one of Charlies grandparents, your bottom lip starts to quiver and your eyes well up with tears

"None taken...Jerk"

"A chocolatier has to run free and solo. He has to follow his dreams. Gosh darn the consequences. Look at me. I had no family, and I'm a giant success." Willy giddily speaks

"So if I go with you to the factory, I won't ever see my family again?" Charlie's voice quivers

"Yeah. Consider that a bonus." Willy smiles

"Then I'm not going. I wouldn't give up my family for anything. Not for all the chocolate in the world." Charlie decides

"Oh, I see." Willys face falters "That's weird."

"There's other candy too besides chocolate. I'm sorry, Mr.Wonka. I'm staying here." Charlie repeats

"Well, that's just...unexpected...and weird. But I suppose, in that case, I'll just--Goodbye, then." Willy walks back into the elevator "Sure you won't change your mind?"

"I'm sure" Charlie assures

"Well, let's go Y/n" Willy sighs

"No..." You whimper "No I think I'll walk back"

"I don't think that's a good-"

"I don't care, Willy" You speak lowly "I'll see you at home" You open the door to Charlies house and slam it behind you

When you look up you see the lift hovering over you

"Go away!" You cry "Leave me alone!" You could see Willy jump

"Y/n I can't leave you-"

"I said go away! Go away! Go away!" You shriek

And with that the lift flies off.

The whole journey back to the factory you kept rubbing your nose with your bare arms.

Even though you hated to admit it, Willy was right, walking home was a stupid idea..

But with everything he said...

Did he really mean it?

Did he really think of you as someone who hung around him constantly?

You walk over to a bench and slump down onto it.

"I don't know what your father was thinking..." You sigh, rubbing your swollen belly "Why did he even propose to me in the first place? What am I really to him?"

You sat in silence for a few minutes...

"Well we better get back home" You speak to the baby.

Just as you stand up.

You freeze...

Eyes widening to the size of saucers...

With trembling hands you grasp your stomach and look down.

Sure enough, there was a puddle of water beneath you.

It all made sense now...

Why the baby was suddenly so active, why everything felt off...

And now the pieces were adding up...

You were going into labour...
