chapter 3, flight to kentucky

one week later

it was the night before i went to kentucky to see anthony for the first time in like a year. i was nervous because we had both changed and i broke up with him because i moved, and he wanted to get back together.

i got into some shorts and a t shirt and got into bed early so i could get up early to see anthony. i was really nervous but i knew me and anthony could get over this.

we met in the seventh grade, we were both bully victims by the same bitch, isabella miller. she was the rudest bitch at our school, and everyone adored her. me and anthony bonded over that and eventually started going out. we went out for like 2 years then i moved.

i eventually drifted off to sleep and the next morning woke up to my alarm blaring and waking me up. i put some sweatpants and a crop top on, i went downstairs to get some breakfast with my dad before i left, he wasn't totslly okay with the idea of me missing school, but he loves anthony and made me get homework for the trip. after i aye i went up and got my bags and threw a hoodie on and my dad drove me to the airport.

once i was on my plane i put my airpods in and watched out the window until we landed, of course with the addutional food breaks.

once the plane landed everyoke got out and i searched the airport for anthony, when i saw him he was looking a different way and my heart dropped and i started to regret coming here. he looked my way and got a big smile on his face and ran over to me, i ran towards him and jumped into his arms. it felt good but it didn't feel like anthony was the one for me.

we got to his house and i saw his parents and memories started rolling in.

"rhianna! it's been so long, we missed you." anthony's mom hugged me and then her dad gave me a side hug and a smile.

"we're gonna up to my room." anthony let his parents know as we made our way upstairs.

"no funny buisness!" his dad said and we all laughed and his mom smacked his chest.

"it's rhianna and anthony, they're good kids." mr reeves nodded and him and his wife made their way to the kitchen to cook dinner.

anthony and rhianna were laying in bed talking and it was time for dinner, so they went downstairs.

"anthony! rhi! dinner, come down." mrs reeves yelled at them to come down.

"coming ma!" anthony yelled back.

they were all at the dinner table eating the roast and potatoes anthony's parents made.

"it's amazing mrs reeves." rhianna said and smiled at anthony's mother.

"thank you dear." she smiled at rhianna back.

they all sat in a comfortable silence eating occasionally making small talk. when everyone finished rhianna helped mrs reeves with the dishes and then her and anthony made their way upstairs.

"i want you to come on tour with me." he spat out at the girl.

"i need to be tiktok famous for that ant." she replied to the boy smiling with his adorable dimples.

"then get tiktok." he took her phone and downloaded tiktok. when it was downloaded he set her account up and made a tiktok and posted it.

"but tours in a week there's no way i'll get famous enough for the manager to ask me to go." she stated browsing her account.

"if you get like a million followers i'll talk to him." he said to her.

"okay anthony, lets make some more i wanna go on this tour." she said and found some sounds to do.

they posted a few tiktoks each and she had already started to gain followers from being on the for you page and from anthony mentioning her.

they both drifted to sleep watching big mouth and the next morning she had two hindered thousand followers overnight and throughout the day she gained even more.

the next day her and anthony spent all day baking and laughing and watched television together.

"anthonyy, lets make brownies!!" she said excitedly at the boy.

"fine." he said and they both laughed.

after making the batter they put it in the pan and he got some on her shirt and she grabbed some and smeared it on his face. they started laughing and fell onto the floor and when they stopped laughing they looked each other in the eyes and he leaned in and kissed her slowly.

"are you two back together?!" anthony's mom yelled from the other side of the kitchen, catching them kissing.

"no mom, just in the moment." he said back quickly. rhianna had a look of relief on her face but nobody saw, thankfully. she didn't want to get back together with anthony, she just wanted to be friends. she knew there was someone better out there for her. she was just waiting for him.

"okay kids, clean this up and get ready for supper, we're going to mcdonald's." she said which made the teenagers smile at the word mcdonald's.

"ok mom, give us 20 minutes." he said to her as they started to clean up their mess. they put the brownie batter in the fridge to chill and ran upstairs to get changed. rhianna put on shorts and a sweatshirt and anthony put on jeans and a t shirt. they went down and got into his mothers car and they drove off.

once they got there they ordered food, anthony got a big mac meal and rhianna got a chicken wrap meal. they each made and posted a tiktok, rhianna up to 700,000 followers. the tour manager says i need a million in order to go on tour.

they went back home and rhianna had a shower while anthony facetimed bryce and jaden.

"bro, you're with rhianna right? i saw her tiktok and she's fine as hell." she heard bryce day and she couldn't help but smile, she thought bryce was very attractive.

"yeah man, we kissed but i think i should tell her about avani." anthony said and her smile dropped, how can he kiss her while having a thing with someone else?

"yeah, tell her when she's out." jaden said.

"i will." anthony said and rhianna walked out in her bra and underwear but she didn't know the facetime camera was facing the bathroom as anthony was getting changed around the corner.

"shit sorry! i was getting clothes!" she quickly said and covered herself with anthony's blanket.

"damn gallagher, nice rack." jaden said and she fingered the camera.

"haha very funny." she said before walking back into the bathroom to change.

once she was out she got into bed and checked tiktok, she was only 50 thousand away to a million and she knew she would do it in four days, which was when tour was.

"i'm going to sleep, goodnight ant." she said as she got comfortable into the blankets.

"wait i need to- you know what? nevermind, it's fine. i'll tell you tomorrow, goodnight rhi."

they both drifted to sleep and she couldn't help but dream about bryce.
