Caitlyn and her sisters return to school for the first time after losing their mother and Caitlyn sings for the first since loosing her Mother with the help of her Uncle Jesse. AN Caitlyn goes to high school even though she is only 12, she is very smart, and she was moved up to high school.
Monday Morning 8:10am
Tanner household
The girls are having breakfast well except for Caitlyn who is on the phone when Danny walks down the stairs and he sees Caitlyn is on the phone
Danny: Who is Caitlyn on the phone to this early?
Jesse: Her Glee club adviser
Caitlyn (on the phone sad) Yeah okay Mr Benson ok bye (she hangs up and sits at the table) well my glee club assembly performance has been cancelled
Jesse: Why?
Caitlyn: Our lead guitarist is sick, and we need him for the performance
Jesse: Well I could help you with your performance I could play my guitar with your glee club
Caitlyn: Really could you Uncle Jesse?
Jesse: Sure, kid I 'm coming anyway
Caitlyn (she gets and hugs her Uncle) Thank you Uncle Jesse
Jesse: You're welcome kid, what time do you need me?
Caitlyn: (she pulls away from the hug) Well you better come with me to school, I can introduce you to Mr Benson and you can rehearse the songs we are performing
Joey: I can watch Michelle
Caitlyn: But you are coming to the show right Joey?
Joey: Of course
Caitlyn (she turns to Danny) Dad you are coming too right?
Danny: of course, I'm even going to be recording it so that your sisters can watch it later
Caitlyn: Okay I am going to get my stuff
Jesse: I'll go get my guitar then we can go
Caitlyn and Jesse leave the kitchen
Danny: Okay so Caty doesn't know this, but I called Nick and Irene I told them about today and they are going to come and watch Caty perform.
Jesse and Caitlyn walk into the room
Caitlyn: Okay Dad remember it starts at 2
Danny: Okay honey see you later
Caitlyn and Jesse leave the house, soon after DJ leaves then Danny takes Stephanie to preschool
Hours later
Danny, joey (who is carrying Michelle) and Caitlyn's grandparents are making their way into the school auditorium.
Nick: So, Danny why are we here?
Danny: Well Caitlyn is singing with her Glee club
Irene: I didn't know that Caty could sing
Danny: Really?
Irene: Yes
Danny: Well she hasn't sung since Pamela died; she would sing Michelle to sleep every night but then Pam died
Nick: Where's Jesse?
Danny: He's helping Caitlyn and the glee club with their performance; he is doing it for Caty the bond that the two of them have is amazing
Nick: Well Caty is a lot like Pamela was when she was Caty's age and she does look a lot like Pamela
Danny: She does. She is so protective of the girls she has been helping me take care of them and they adore her, did you know that she had me change one of her window seats into an extra bed for DJ so if she needs her for anything
Irene: That sounds like Caty she is such a good girl
Danny: Yeah she is my strong girl
Someone walks onto the stage and picks up the microphone, so Danny and the others sit down
VP: Hello everyone my name is Mr Bennett the vice principal welcome to our first glee club's first performance of the year I would like to introduce you all to our first and youngest member of the glee club Ms Caitlyn Tanner
Danny and everyone else claps as Caitlyn walks onto the stage and Mr Bennett hands her the microphone and he walks of the stage.
Caitlyn: Hello most of you know that a couple of months ago I lost my mother I wrote this song for her but I would like to dedicate it to my Mom my Dad, my awesome Uncle Jesse, Joey my sisters and my Grandparents so here it is my own song its called Someone's watching over me
The music starts and Caitlyn starts singing, a few minutes later the song is finished, and everyone stands up clapping and cheering
Caitlyn: Thank you, Ladies and Gentlemen we are One Harmony
Caitlyn joins her friends as Journey's Don't stop believing starts soon everyone is stood up and clapping along with the singing. Once the song is over the curtain comes down and everyone cheers. Jessie walks over to his Niece
Jess: Caty that was amazing
Caitlyn: Really?
Jesse: Yes, come on let's go see you Dad
Caitlyn and Jesse head to find their family
Danny: Caty honey that amazing
Caitlyn: It was really?
Irene: Caty sweetie
Caitlyn smiles when she sees her Grandmother
Caitlyn: Grandma (she rushes over and hugs her)
Irene: Its so good to see you sweetie
Caitlyn pulls away from the hug
Nick: Hey Kitty
Caitlyn smiles again when she sees her Grandfather and she rushes over to hug him
Caitlyn: Grandpa
Nick: Hi Sweetie (the hug ends) Honey that was incredible
Caitlyn: Thanks Grandpa
Michelle sees Caitlyn and she struggles to get to her
Joey: Oh, I think someone wants their big sister to hold them
Caitlyn smiles and walks over to Joey and takes Michelle
Caitlyn: Come here baby sister
Michelle starts to giggle
Danny: Well we have sometime before the girls finish school so who wants to go get some chocolate cake
Caitlyn: Can we?
Danny: Sure, let's go. Do you want me to take Michelle?
Caitlyn: No, it's okay Dad she's not heavy
Danny smiles at his oldest and youngest daughters
Together the family leave the auditorium and then the school.
