As I walked outside with Julian I couldn't help but laugh. "What's so funny??" Julian asked as he sipped on his glass. "You like to get freaky don't you?" I smile at him as I sweetly lean into him. I felt like a teenager again just hopelessly in love with a bad boy. Julian kissed my head and hugged me. "Actually that was all new but I figured it was worth a try." We sat and laughed not noticing Ricky and Bubbles standing outside.

"Jeez you two trying to wake up the neighborhood??". Ricky asked making me immediately hide my face. Bubbles stood there blushing before Julian told them to mind their own business. "(Y/N) and I are a couple we can do what we please." I looked up at Julian as to say "thank you for saving me the awkwardness". Around lunch time we started to get ready for the cook out I had planned. Ricky an Bubbles were in charge of supplies and Julian was in charge of telling everyone. I pretty much just sat there as the boys took over. I was so nervous of meeting all these new people. *What will they think??"*

I sigh as I watch the clouds in the sky gently move in the breeze. Julian had mixed me a rum and coke to calm my nerves but it wasn't working. I never liked meeting new people; even when I was a child I never enjoyed it. I remember the first time I met Mr.Neil, a friend my grandfather's.

**"Well hello Neil! What can I do for you??" I watched my grandfather shake this man's hand and talk with me a bit, but I didn't know who he was. "Is that you granddaughter over there??" Mr.Neil asked my grandfathed pointing at me. "Oh yes, (Y/N) come here and meet a good friend of mine, Neil!!" I shyed away as I ran behind my grandfather. "Hello young lady! I'm your grandfather's friend!" He said as he reached out his hand. I was so nervous.. He was so sweet and friendly. "H-Hello.." I grabbed his big finger and shook it.**

I blushed at the thought of me being so awkward as a child and even worse as an adult. I snapped out of my childhood memory as I heard Julian yelling at Mr.Lahey and Randy. I watched as Julian made his way towards me as if on some kind of mission. Not gonna lie the man looked kinda sexy all mad an such. "You guys just go on home !" Julian yells as he heads up the stairs. I kept quite and continued watching. About that time I guess they finally noticed I was sitting right there. "Oh..well afternoon Ms. (Y/N). Heard your having a cook out." I smile politely. "Yes I am." Julian quickly glanced at me as if a cry for help. "Well muscles here says we can't come..". Lahey wobbled back and forth as he waited for my answer. I could tell Julian was getting more and more anxious waiting for my answer. The anticipation was killing him.

I thought for a minutes glancing at the men in front of me and sighed as I began to speak. "Your aloud to come.. But I have one condition." Julian started to kind of sway back and fourth. "If you can all be civil with each other; then yes.. If not I will take measures into my own hands.." I say as I get as serious as I can. This was already to much for me.. Randy and Lahey agree to my terms and leave. "(Y/N) why did you let them come!!??". I quickly glanced at Julian.. "Regardless of what relationship you guys have.. I invited EVERYONE.." I poked Julian's chest to get the point across.."that I meant what I said and said what I meant". I turned around and walked inside.

**Julian's POV**

I was running around like crazy to get this together. I had my own suprise for (Y/N) but it was so difficult to try an incorporate it with all this going on.. While the boys were out getting supplies, I also told them to go see Sal at the jewellery store to pick up my "order". After (Y/N) went inside I sat down trying to calm myself before I loose it on accident. About that time my phone rang. "Shit.." I grunt as I answer the phone. "What is it Ricky!?"

"Hey, Are you gonna ask what I think your gonna ask??!!". Of course he looked at it.. "Ricky just get it here!!". As I  took a long swig on my drink before heading back out to tell everyone about the cook out. As I finished up I couldn't help but think about what I would say to (Y/N). I've never confessed my feelings to anyone before. *What if I fuck this up!!*. I decided to just wait in Bubbles shed. Maybe it'll help me clear my head. "Thank goodness I hid these in here." I smile as I yanked my favorite rum from under Bubbles's bed.

**Time skip 3 hours**

"Julian!!!." It's been hours since I've seen him and he wasn't answering his phone. The cook out had already started and I had already met; Lucy, Sarah, Jacob, Don, Corey, and so many others. Randy was being very helpful cooking an serving everyone, Lucy was feeding me drinks an dancing on me, and Ricky was getting me high. I had to step away from everyone for a minute. I started walking. I don't know where, but I was walking.

**She's Like The Wind" by Patrick Swayze** was playing in the background.

**Julian's POV**

I woke up to the sound of music. I laid there and stared at the ceiling until I jumped up. "SHIT!!! (Y/N)". I ran out of Bubbles shed and went to (Y/N)'s trailer. *How did I miss the cook out!!* Then I realized I was drunk. My vision was blurry and hazy. When I got to the party I didn't see her. I frantically tried to find Ricky through the crowd. "Ricky! Ricky!". "Over here Jules!!" He waved his hand at me from (Y/N)'s porch. "Jules where were you??" Ricky said as he handed me the ring. "H-Have you seen her??" Ricky looked at me and looked around. "No man..". I stared blankly at the ground. *I fucked up!!* I asked everyone at the party if they saw her. I was about to give up before I heard an angelic voice singing in the distance. "(Y/N)!!" I ran towards the sound my heart racing as I got closer and found (Y/N) singing and dancing under a big oak tree. She looked like a goddess dancing under the moon light. She was so beautiful.

**In the distance "I wanna know what love is by Foreigner" is playing."

I compose myself before approaching her. "Excuse me Miss, but you look lonely." She spun around and smiled at me. "I wanna know what love is, I want to show me!! I wanna feel what love is, I know you can show me!". She sang beautifully as she pulled me into her. "In my life there's been heart ache and pain, I don't know if I can face it again, can't stop now I've traveled so far to change this lonely life!!" I smiled as she sang each word to me. "S-so why weren't you at the party??!!" She asked swaying slowly. I laughed. "I got caught up..". She kissed my cheek. "I missed you."

*It's now or never* "What if you didn't have to miss me anymore??". I asked as I got on one knee. "J-Julian..". (Y/N)'s eyes watered with tears.. "Will you marry me??".  I was a nervous wreck now.. *Say something* "YES!!". (Y/N) hugged me tight and kissed me. We layed there holding each other for a while and got up.

"I love you so much (Y/N)." I say as I hold her small hands in mine. "I love you too honey." We walked back to the party and announced our engagement. Everyone cheered and congratulated us. (Y/N) and I danced the night away.

"So that's the story of how me and your mother met!!". I smiled as I rubbed my son's head. "Well not all of it!". (Y/N) said coming into the living room. "Then a wondeful little boy was born." (Y/N) said as she kissed our son an then kissed me. "Wow mama.. Did that all really happen??". Our son was always so inquisitive. My beautiful wife smiled and sat next to me as she held me hand. "Yes baby and all it took was a change in pace.."
