Nandini had woken up in the middle of night to see Avni sleeping beside her. She looked around for Manik but couldn't find him. She walked out of the room and made her way to the gardens. Manik was strolling around looking at the stars. Nandini joined him

Walking besides him in silence slowly they entwined their hands and walked together. Not saying a word they just stayed beside each other.

"Hi Dadi" Arav entered the house wearing jeans and blue turtle neck T-shirt

"Avs ready hai kya?" he asked not knowing the situation

"Arav beta Avni ki tabiyat thodi kharab hai, toh woh aaj nahi aayegi" Neyonika said as Mahi and Samar looked at her. Why was she lying? and the more important thing was she could not meet Arav's eyes. Abhi, Druv and Cabir noticed this

"Kya hua? Mujhe na kuch gad bad lag hi rahi thi kal. Main..." Neyonika held his hand restricting him from going to her room

"Beta woh so rahi hai" Neyonika said, she knew what will Arav do if he gets to know what happened today

"I won't wake her..."

"Nahi baccha woh she is a light sleeper na uth jayegi bahut mushkil se soi hai" Neyonika tried her best

"Accha thik hai phir main Adi ko bol deta hu" he said leaving the house. When he walked out of the door Neyonika turned to the kids

"Usko kuch maat batana, galti se bhi" she warned Mahi, Abhir and Samar who just nodded in returned

Having their breakfast everyone left for their respective work and institutes. Neyonika was sitting in the living room when she saw MaNan doing their breakfast. She was going to talk to them when her phone went off she had a talk and went near them

"I have to go to my office, there is some paperwork of an adoption" she said to them

"Take care of her" she added and left

It was only MaNan and Avni at home. They waited for Avni to wake up but it was half an hour she had not left her room. Thinking about what to do, Nandini asked Manik to check on her.

Manik walked into Avni's room and opened the curtains making light enter her dark room. Avni winched in pain and turned around with a whimper. Manik heard her and rushed to her 

"Avni" he called

"Avni! What's wrong?" he patted her cheek

When Avni opened her eyes big, big drops of tears rolled down her eyes

"Hey what's wrong?" Manik asked seating near her. He held her face in his palms as she hissed 

"Hey baby what's wrong?" Manik asked her gently creasing her face

"It's paining" she whimpered and Manik froze

"Paining, paining where Kiddo?" he asked

"Aahhh" she whimpered in pain. Manik hugged her
