I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I felt tears still rolling down my eyes and that only helped remind me of the events that happened yesterday. I didn't want to go to school today. Maybe I can ask my dad to stay home. I walked downstairs to see my dad sitting at the kitchen table reading the newspaper and drinking a cup of coffee.

" Goodmorning Y/n. There's coffee in the pot ready for you. The bread is out for you to make toast and—" I stopped him before he could continue you on.

"I don't want to go to school today."

"You're going to school. I know you don't want to see Alex but you can't hide from her forever." He didn't even look up from the newspaper. I walked over to the table and sat down in front of him.

"Um yes I can! See this was my plan okay, get ready for it. We only have 2 weeks left of school and then I'll never have to see her again! So I'll just stay home the last two weeks and bam see!" My dad just laughed at me. "Don't laugh at me, it's a great plan!"

"Go get dressed for school. I'm driving you today so I know you go to school. We'll stop at Mcdonald's if you hurry up." My dad said while laughing and shaking his head at me.

"Dad. Come on. One I've never missed a day of school this year. You know I always go to school and two I hate Mcdonald's!" Dad knew I didn't like Mcdonald's, he's always just trying to be funny. My dad looks at me and just by that look I know I should go upstairs and get ready for school. So that's what I did. I got ready for school but he still drove me to school.

I sat with my two best friends Jaxon and Raelyn. They already knew what happened between Alex and I. Raelyn's girlfriend was best friends with Alex. Jaxon? He just knows all the gossip in the school. He can get information on anyone. He's the person everyone is nice too because everyone knows that he has dirt on them.

During the rest of lunch, all I could think about was Alex. I was looking at all the pictures her and I took. We were the perfect couple. Or so I thought.

Graduation was in 2 weeks and after that I won't ever have to see her again. I'm going off to college and so was she. However, we are going to opposite colleges on opposite sides of the country. Gosh, I couldn't wait to get out of high school and go to college.
