I gather my supplies including spare rotten fruit, which was the only somewhat edible food on the Isle, and weapons. After my bag is full, I head out towards the bridge that now connects the two lands. I was going back for the golden flower. I also need to figure out who's in Hook's inner circle, so this is the perfect opportunity. It's the dead of night right now, making it nearly impossible for me to be seen sneaking back into Auradon. The flower fell on the bridge, so it's either still there and I'll be able to get it, or somebody took it, and in some time that person will have to die.

I get to the bridge in no time at all since everyone on the Isle knew to avoid people in robes walking down dark alleyways. I search everywhere on the bridge and the land on either side of it, but there is no flower to be found. I begin to get frustrated. I knew this could happen, but it unnecessarily makes the whole plan so much harder and longer than it needs to be. I leave it and decide to find a place to camp out for the rest of the night where no one will see me. In the morning, I will look for Harry and his friends.

I walk across the creaky bridge leading to the Enchanted Lake as carefully as possible in my new gray converse

I walk across the creaky bridge leading to the Enchanted Lake as carefully as possible in my new gray converse. Harry left them at my dorm with a note to meet him at the lake, and I didn't want to ruin them. I finally reach the gazebo overlooking the water where Ben and I had many of our dates before. It feels weird coming back here again, but with someone else. I remember all the heartfelt moments that Ben and I shared here, especially our first date. Before when I used to think about these moments, it felt like someone had punched me in the stomach, leaving me winded. I felt like I had made a mistake by breaking up with such a sweet guy. But now that I'm here with Harry, I feel like I can breathe again. I can think about Ben and our past without feeling depressed, angry, or guilty. I smile to myself. It's then that I see Harry, scrambling to get everything set up at the last minute, arranging and then rearranging the plates and the food. I quietly laugh at him.

"Aww, do I make you nervous?" I ask with a wide smile. He looks startled by hearing my voice but when he sees me, he visibly relaxes and returns my smile.

"Well, I think you should be worried if I wasn't nervous after seeing you like that," Harry smiles at me. I walk up to him and hug him. He wraps his arms around my waist and I can feel the hook with the stopper he hates so much on it.

"Thank you... for the sneakers I mean. And for everything else too," I whisper into his ear. He kisses my cheek.

"You're welcome, love," Harry says. We sit down and start talking about his transition to Auradon so far, now that it's been about a month since he's been here.

"Oh, the classes are ok. I mean they're easy but I don't like how you actually have to attend. On the Isle, I never used to go to school much, and I ended up just fine! But then again, the Isle didn't have tourney. Oh, I love that game! It's so much fun to play with a team. You're not constantly worried that they're gonna stab you in the back. Figuratively and literally! I trust the team with my life. Everyone except Jay, at least," he sneers when he says Jay's name. I can just feel a fight coming on so I decide to reach into the picnic basket to see what else my boyfriend brought. My eyes widen and I let out a small gasp when I find a carton of fresh strawberries. I immediately grab them and start eating them. At one point I close my eyes and groan at how good it tastes and then I hear Harry saying my name repeatedly.
