Unexpected Love (Part 1)

Let's set the scene.

It's 2012 and you've currently taken on a job with the BSAA

You had risen through the ranks and were now working along side Chris Redfiled and his team.

What you did not know was what was about to happen.

You had met all of the team till one of them mention another member who isn't there but is away on vacation.

You think nothing of it as he's just be another face you have to memorise when he got there.

Y/n's POV
I walk into the locker room to pack up for the day when Captain Redfiled comes in to
Do the same .

We were talking till he said.
"I cannot wait for you to meet Piers tomorrow." Chris smiles.

I kinda look at Chris like who what?
"Why? Who is this Piers?" I ask bluntly.

Chris smiles and says "He's my second in command and the best sniper I have on the team." He chuckles and says more.

"I'd say he's going to like you." He looks at you and starts to walk out the room.

I was baffled. I just sighed grabbed the rest of my stuff and left.

I was driving home with the top down taking in the evening breeze.

I park up outside my place I get out and walk to my house and unlock the front door.

I grab some food and sit myself down with the TV on and enjoy my evening.

It was about 11pm when I yawned and thought I'd be time to hit the hay.

I walk upstairs and get into my Pjs on and get into bed.

I smile as i go to get into bed but my dog zac is currently led there.

"Zac buddy time to move." I say and I stroke him. He yawns turns to me wags his tail and jumps off of the bed.

"Good boy. Nighty night Zac!" I say and I reach for the light.

I lay in bed letting the day kind of slip away till what Chris had said to me.
"I'd say he's going to like you."
It replayed in my mind. How would he know
What he likes and who he will like.
I've never even met the guy I sigh as I lay my head back into my pillow.

End POV.

You wake the next morning you have showered and prepared yourself for another busy day at the base.

You decided since it was a lovely day you'd walk to work.

You were outside the base sitting on the wall before your shift was about to start.

You hear some laughs from the bunch of soldiers in the corner but you didn't think nothing of them because it's normally banter between them.

You just sigh and close your eyes and then you had a feeling to open your eyes and when you did there was a guy stood in front of you with a cheeky grin on his face.

"You must be Y/n!" He says quite proudly.
You look at him clueless as if you were supposed to know him.

"Sorry but do I know you?" You ask with a confused look on your face.

He smirks and says. "I'm Piers Nivans it's a pleasure to meet you."

You kind of stop dead in your trail of thought and look at him.

"Uh well it's nice to meet you! I gotta go bye!" You jump off of the wall and quickly walk away.

-later that day.-

You were sat with Chris and the others at lunch talking about the mission that is coming up and then of course Piers comes to sit with us.

You couldn't help but look in his direction. He was currently talking to Chris. You watched in awe as his dimples in his cheek shown. His beautiful hazel eyes shone like diamonds.

He was a very handsome man. You on the other hand were what they called a Tom boy. You tried not to think about Piers in that way even though it was hard.

After lunch you decided it was time to work out a bit do some cardio.

You were on the treadmill just letting the world fade as your music played and you worked your fears away.

You speed it up and try and keep up but you start to lose your footing and as you try and stop you fall backwards thinking you were about to hit the cold hard ground
Of the gym you squeeze your eyes shut but rather than feel cold you felt warmth. You open your eyes to see those lovely hazel eyes.

You feel your cheeks heat up and you try to turn away but of course piers brought your face back to his and in that moment he leans down and places a soft kiss upon your lips.

You both break away and piers helps you to your feet. You were about to say something when the rest of the team show up and you being shy you run out of there away from piers.

Piers's pov

It was just after lunch and I fancied to do some weight lifting so I was heading to the gym and as I walked in there was Y/n on the Treadmill I smiled as I admired her.

She had beautifully long h/c hair. That sat perfectly on her shoulders.

Her beautiful features were like a goddess and her beautiful e/c eyes were what took my breath away.

I was preparing my weights when I hear the treadmill going a bit weird a run over to see Y/n losing her footing I got in place to catch her  and as I guessed she fell right into my arms.

At first she had her eyes shut. I was just admiring her beauty until she opened her eyes.
Then I saw her beautiful glass gleaming eyes and it just made me feel brave.
I took the situation into my own hands and leant down and kissed her. My heart was pounding the whole time.

But I couldn't stop myself. She was so perfect.
I'd only known her for a day but I couldn't help myself. We broke apart and I helped her to her feet. She was about to say something until the team walked in and ruined the moment I sighed as she walked away.

I continued working out till the end of the shift where I caught up with Y/n.

"Hey Y/n fancy walking with me tonight?" I ask her and she smiles and nods.

We end up walking through the local park. And we end up getting to know one another very well.

I walk her home we exchange numbers and as I hoped she said what she wanted to earlier.

"You know I only met you today I'm glad you kissed me."
