Y/N POV

"Y/n breath in that stomach! For God's sake child,  we'll never get this corset on if you try and make some sort of effort" My mother yelled, pushing my lady in waiting, Able, aside and grabbing the strings, tugging on the corset. My hands instinctively went to my mid stomach, rubbing it as the corset only tightened that area.

"There" Mother breathed. "Now get that dress on. I expect you to be in the throne room in 10 minutes. Not a second later" Mother gave a threatening smile. Able bowed down to mother as she so gracefully walked over to the big wooden doors, leaving Able and I alone.

"How are you feel M'lady?" Able asked with a sweet smile. "Able, mother isn't here. You can call me Y/n" I spoke. "Oh pardon me" Able stuttered as she rushed over to wardrobe, taking out the dress before making her way back to me.

"So, how are you feeling today, Y/n?" Able asked with a blush. "Not the best" I confessed. Able looked at me with a knowing look. It seemed she wasn't surprised of my answer. It wasn't the first time I had talked about this day with Able.

Most Princess only dreamed of the day they would meet their future husband. Just the idea of being with someone who would care for you sounded astonishing.

And to be honest, that was me as a child.

I was always a big reader from day one. Books were a way for me to escape the harsh reality around me. They gave me some sort of sensation that I could only dream of. From tragic to perfect, romance books always took my heart. I would always dream about meeting the perfect boy, falling in love, getting married, and starting a family.....I wanted that....I desired that.

But, as I got older, things changed. The search for love became a mission to get married as soon possible. Reading romance books, turned into lessons on how to be a "good wife". Playing with my mother's dresses, turned into how I can look beautiful and appealing to a man.

That's what changed me.

"Ok all done Lady Y/n" Able spoke, flattening out creases on the rose dress. I was so into my thoughts, I didn't even notice that she had gotten me ready. "Shall we?" I turned to Able with my signature smile. Able slowly nodded her head as I turned around and started out the room and down the hallway.

I felt like death walking down the cold stoned hallway. The torches of fire, hung on the walls, illuminating the space. My heart beat started to pick up the closer we drew to the throne room. Soon enough, I abruptly came to a stop at the doors. The two guards in either end looked at me, waiting for the signal for me to walk in.

I took a deep breath, nodding my head.

The doors slowly opened. My gaze moved quickly to the floor, trying to avoid eye contact with the three princes that were no doubt looking at me.

I stood there for a few seconds before hearing a slight cough. My head snapped up, immediately taking in the sight.

My father, King Nilson, had a huge smile on his face as he motioned to the dashing Prince's that stood before me. I ever so slowly made eye contact with each and every one of them as I walked over.

"Y/n would you please come here" Father said, gesturing to walk closer to him and the men.

The closer I got, the more I really took the young men in.

My Lord, they were very good looking.

"Y/n this Julian, Prince of the Ashton Kingdom" I looked at Julian as he ever so lightly, grabbed my hand and placed a chast kiss on it

"Y/n this Julian, Prince of the Ashton Kingdom" I looked at Julian as he ever so lightly, grabbed my hand and placed a chast kiss on it. "Princess Y/n, you look absolutely ravishing" Julian winked making a blush appear on my cheeks. He had beautiful dirty blond hair, with a smile that could make a million lady's swoon. Julian was a charmer, no doubt there.

"Y/n sweetheart, this is Prince Gabriel of Maxwell" Father said, making Julian move back as Gabriel stepped closer to me.

"Hello darling. I have heard so much about you...and I can't wait to learn more" Gabriel said in a seductive voice. Before I could even speak a word, Gabriel grabbed both of my hands kissing the multiple times. Emphasis on multiple.

My eyes widened at this very forward gesture. A blush once again slowly crept on my cheeks as Gabriel continued kissing my hands.

"Ahem" Father interrupted, making Gabriel stop his movements. "Might I remind you Sir Gabriel, you are not yet married to my daughter. I suggest you tone down your affection for a more...private time" Father said strictly. Gabriel looked at me with a smirk before stepping back, allowing the final Prince to come forward.

"And this is Thomas, Prince of the Holland Kingdom" The boy stepped forward with a giant smile on his face. "Hello Princess Y/n" He spoke, grabbing both my hands and placing a soft kiss on them. "You look absolutely-" Thomas paused, looking me up and down with an adoring look. "Beautiful. Better than I imagined" I face immediately turned a dark red. I chuckled a bit trying to cover up the butterflies that filled my stomach.

In the corner of my eye, I could see both Julian and Gabriel looking at Thomas with death in their eyes. Some would call it, a look that could kill.

I ignored their antics and focused back on the charming boy that stood right in front of me.

Lord.....

He was going to be the death of me.
