Nico's POV

Nico's eyes couldn't help but be drawn to Jason, no matter what he was doing or where he was. Why does he have to walk around shirtless anyway? I get it if it was hot out, but it is a normal temperature in here. Who does he think he is, Jacob from Twilight. Nico thought, despite his eyes being glued to Jason's muscular torso. It didn't help that just earlier, that body had been pressed against his.  Suddenly, Nico felt a quick pain in his right cheek.

"Pay attention, Angel Boy." Leo said, a grin on his face. Leo was Nico's best friend, and helped Nico train when Finn wasn't around. Even though Leo was more of a mechanic than a fighter, he always helped Nico out.  I can't believe he landed a punch. I can't let myself think about things that shouldn't and will never happen. Nico thought, shaking his head before putting his hands up.

"Don't get cocky, Tinker Toes." Nico said, before landing a punch. Leo just shook his head, and put his hands up.

"I'm not the one who's distracted by Mister Muscles." Leo said, smirking.

"Shut up!" Nico said, and tried to punch Leo. Leo saw it coming, and quickly moved to the side. Nico glared at Leo. I don't get it. I can't focus today. It must be because Finn is sick. Nico thought, although he knew Finn wasn't the only reason. The two fought hard for a solid ten minutes before someone rang the bell that signified the beginning of a match.

"Time's up." Jason said, and Nico turned around glaring. Finn almost always let Nico have extra time in the cage, because he new that Nico actually had talent.

"How about giving us a little extra, it's not everyday you see a Mexican and an Itailian box." Leo said, and Jason didn't even smile.

"Nico try, but I'm not going to give you guys special treatment." Jason said, as he climbed into the ring to face Leo.  Nico was punch Jason, but Leo spoke up.

"Fine, but if you wanna run this gym like Nazi Germany then you better be prepared to deal with the gas." Leo said, before farting loudly. It smells like the bathroom in an Indian resterant. Nico thought, trying not to breath it in. He wanted to stay in the ring just to go against Jason, but the stench was so bad he ended up climbing out. Jason stood there, trying to keep a straight face.

"I just want to have order in this gym." Jason said, trying and failing to mask his total disgust. Leo just laughed as he exited the ring. He walked over to Nico, who was taking out his frustration on a punching bag.

"Dude you're so lucky I had a burrito for lunch." Leo said, and Nico couldn't help but smile. He turned around to see Jason gage before climbing down. Nico highfived Leo. Leo looked at the clock.

"I gotta run." Leo said, before grabbing his things. Nico sighed, that boy was always late.

      Jason's POV

Jason stood outside the gym. After Leo decided to act like a five year old, Jason had needed fresh air.

"Smell ya later." Leo called from his car as he drove past. That boy is so immature. Jason thought, but couldn't stop a smile from creeping onto his lips. He ran his fingers through his blond hair. Looks like I've got a lot of work ahead of me. He thought, thinking of Nico. Jason thought he had made himself clear earlier.

"Hey, Grace." Percy, Jason's rival of sorts said. Jason turned around. It was strange for him and Percy to talk to one another. Most of the time they only saw each other at sporting events, and since they went to different schools they always were against each other. Jason was a better runner, but Percy was a better swimmer. As one could imagine, they were always competing.

"Hi, Jackson." Jason said, and was surprised to see the serious expression on Percy's face.

"We need to talk." Percy said, and Jason raised his eyebrows. I guess I better hear him out, this guy is never serious. Jason thought, before telling Percy to wait a minute. He walked inside to where Reyna was standing. Once they had gotten inside, it was obvious the person Reyna had wanted to see wasn't there. Still Reyna had stayed and helped him out, and Jason felt kinda bad about leaving her here by herself.

"Can you watch the gym for a second?" Jason asked, and Reyna raised her eyebrows.

"Is it Piper?" Reyna said, trying and failing to sound nonchalant. That's odd, why would she care about Piper. Jason thought, and let out a sigh. He tried hard not to think about his ex-girlfriend.

"No it's not her, we broke up remember." Jason said, and Reyna put her hands up.

"No need to get all defensive, I was just curious." Reyna said, and Jason sighed. He had spoken harshly, but she of all people knew why he didn't like talking about her. Jason turned around, and saw Percy standing by the door. He figured that he shouldn't keep him waiting much longer, Percy had the attention span of a squirrel.

"Don't worry, I'll babysit the gym for you. Am I supposed to keep a close eye on Nico, you were staring at him a lot." Reyna said, looking completely oblivious. It's a good thing Reyna can be completely oblivious when it comes to these types of things. Jason thought, before shaking his head. What was he supposed to tell Reyna, he didn't even know the answer to that question.

"Just make sure no one breaks the rules." Jason said, before turning around. He walked out of the door where Percy was standing, anxious to here what Percy had to say.
